Our server, Chance, was GREAT!! Chance was very patient and had a great personality!!
We were seated on the patio and had a terrific time!!
I was told a few times that the burgers are great so I ordered one and boy was I impressed. This location is fantastic from the wine tasting to the sit down meals.
We started with a couple of our go-to appetizers: egg rolls and roasted Brussels sprouts. Both were delicious and the perfect start to the meal.
Since we’re wine club members, it was great to enjoy a bottle of wine from our saved inventory, which added a special touch to our celebration.
For dinner, we decided to try something different from our usual favorites. My husband went with the Jambalaya, and he absolutely loved it! He said it was full of flavor, and the portion was generous with a great mix of meats and seafood.
I chose the Country Rigatoni and was pleased with the large portion. I was worried there wouldn’t be enough sauce, but that wasn’t an issue at all! A few bites were a bit salty, but overall, the dish was great. The Italian sausage was a highlight, and I really liked how the chicken was thinly sliced. I do wonder if I could substitute the chicken for shrimp next time.
The only downside was the seating. The place was packed, and we ended up at a small table squeezed between a bigger group and a booth, which wasn’t the most comfortable. Our waiter, Lewis, did apologize for that though.
And speaking of Lewis, he was amazing! He was so attentive, friendly, and made the evening even better with his positive energy. You can tell he really enjoys his job and is great with people.
We ended the meal with a slice of key lime pie, and it was so good! The not too tangy filling was perfectly balanced with a sweet, buttery crust. Definitely a delicious way to wrap up the evening.
All in all, it was a wonderful anniversary dinner, and we can’t wait to return. Cooper’s Hawk never disappoints!
When the manager came over, I simply requested that our meals be comped due to the situation. However, he refused and only removed the contaminated meal from the bill, insisting it wasn’t their fault because “the lettuce arrives that way.”
Any reasonable person would expect that produce is properly washed before being served. I was initially willing to overlook the issue, but the manager’s response—and particularly that dismissive comment—left me feeling like customer safety wasn’t a priority. That’s disappointing and unacceptable.
Special shoutout to our server, Paola:
Paola truly made our experience unforgettable. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout the entire meal. She made sure we had everything we needed, gave great recommendations, and always checked in with a warm and genuine smile. Her positive attitude, patience, and excellent customer service really stood out. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in her work.
