I had been told about this place somewhere and I’m really glad we stopped in for chicken tenders and a bathroom break when at the coast. It’s located inside of a mini mart, but also has a drive-thru. The employee was hard at work cleaning, but stopped to answer all of our questions and share information about the place. The tenders are very delicious! We will be stopping in whenever in that area as we like to know where all the good chicken places are. I’m just sorry I’m just now getting around to posting this as I promised!

This is a hard review cause some aspects deserve a 5 while other aspect deserve less then a 4.
Pros (worth 5 stars):
– The woman that helped me was super nice and put my order together quickly once taken
– I got a surprise bonus piece of fried chicken (not sure if it’s cause they were trying to get rid of it before close or if it was to compensate for cons)
– $9.49 for a 3 (4!) piece fried chicken meal with two sides is unbeatable. Seattle me (visiting) could believe it
Cons:
– Didn’t get the biscuit included in the meal, it wasn’t mentioned if they were out
– Mashed potatoes were cool, gravy was warm tho
– Had to wait a few minutes to be greeted at the drive thru (no more than 5 mins tho and I think they were straightening up, prepping what they could for close which I understand)

Love their chicken. Way better than Kfc. Don’t even need a gravy or anything, the breading is good, so crispy and tasty! It’s kinda deceiving coz it’s in a gas station but you won’t regret it. I love chicken breast so I paid extra to get all of them in a meal(you get 2 dark meat+1 white meat). All the staff in there were so nice and accommodating. You definitely need to try their chicken when you visit Reedsport!☺️

I wouldn’t call this a restaurant. It’s a little kitchen at the back of a convenient store. The guy behind the counter was really nice, but the food is mediocre at best. We were told by a local to “try the jojos, they’re they’re delicious!” but they were just your basic fried potato wedges.

Everyone is so nice, and the food has consistently been good. My favorite are the fried mushrooms!

I’ve been stopping by here on my way up and down the coast for many years now. Since I started eating chicken again a few years ago, I have made it a point to stop here for chicken every time I’ve passed by, regardless of whether I was hungry at the time. The chicken is always very moist and tasty. The batter is a little too heavily put on for my ultimate taste, but then they aren’t there to serve just me and the extra can easily be taken off. As Mikey’s brother used to say, “Try it. You’ll like it!”

Difficult to find as was looking for their sign. They are located in Recreation Station – part of the convenient store. They have a drive-through but no one at window so we went into the store. Got the chicken stick and 3 pc combo (only 3 pieces of chicken : thigh, wing and breast and 3 potatoe wedges, no drink). Taste was good, batter has some spice in it. We had been eating seafood for a week along the Oregon coast so this was a good change.
