The establishment is nice and clean, staff was professional. The food is overpriced for mediocre BBQ. Very dry, lacked seasoning and smoked flavor kinda like its baked.
Note ‐ They do not trim so they are charging you for unedible parts of the meat per pound.
• Brisket — one slice of brisket $10.26
• Ribs — 2 ribs for $14.73
Sausage — 1/4 link of sausage $6.05
The brisket was terrible, the ribs were decent but flavorless. Jalapeño sausage was good but not worth the price for such little quantity.
Sides –
• Twice baked potatoes was the best thing on the plate.
• Jalapeño mac is so bland and hard to eat as it was tacky/seemed old.
We are in Texas and this did not hit the mark, glad we didn’t order a lot because we didn’t even finish what we purchased.

Ordered 1/2 pound brisket. Over half of it was fat. 4.6 oz of fat as you can see in the picture. We told them it was fatty and he was I will let her know and walked away. Not good

Really great service, atmosphere, and meat. The sides could be a lot better. Even the flavored mac and cheese was lacking. The loaded mashed potatoes were very good.

Not worth the high prices. Inedible, Staff nice despite food issues. I ordered burnt ends and the guy tried to “baptize them on sauce” because it was horrible and dried out. ( I’m not calling him a pitmaster because he had dried out the meat and then has the teenagers cut and wrap while he stands there and they’re trying to rush around and serve.) It was like toothpicks. Way over cooked.. the pieces that were not dried out were thick pieces of deckle fat. It was like BBQ jerky. Thankfully servers made it right by replacing it with better meat.
The mashed potatoes had no Mayonnaise, like mashed potatoes with pickle juice and pimento.
The sausage was decent but slicers don’t cut all the way through.
The free beans were okay,, too many jalapeños.
The banana pudding has too much flour/ cornstarch – you can stand a spoon up in it and it tastes like Mexican vanilla.
The Original Coopers is good, this location isn’t. And it’s so difficult to get to!

I’ve known Coopers for years from their original Llano location . Fabulous brisket, sausage and pulled pork. Subtended you don’t need a knife and a wonderful smoke flavor that sets the benchmark.

Great ribs, brisket, turkey, sausage! Green beans and corn are good. We do not eat any of the other sides or desserts so cannot comment on those. Love the bbq sauce and recommend getting everything “baptized.” Meat is a bit pricey, but it is good meat every time. If you want to bring a meal that everyone will like to someone who just got out of hospital or had a baby or loss in family … you cannot go wrong delivering a ToGo box of any assorted Cooper BBQ meats. Great as left overs.
