A nice place for a quiet dinner.
We had
Drinks:
Reindeer cookie crunch – was fine. Could be better.
winter old fashioned – it was excellent
Dinner:
Shrimp Scampi – would’ve liked some pasta with it. Shrimp were ok. French fries were crunchy and quite tasty.
Cajun boneless pork chops and the blackened salmon were very good.
House salad was fine.

Shared this on FB last week – we went to Coopers last Thursday and were more than pleasantly surprised. The new menu is great and food is so much better than in previous visits. I had the chicken piccata which was done just right and sauce was not too heavy. Husband had steak and mushroom risotto which he ate every bite

Definitely recommend putting this restaurant on your list again.
(FYI- they REALLY need to replace chairs and decor. Chairs cushions were soft and clumsy. Decor is 1980)

If you’re looking for hearty portions, Cooper’s in Mount Shasta won’t disappoint. They’ve got a good selection of classic bar food. Plus, try their sushi from Wednesday to Saturday! Just be prepared for a potential wait if they’re busy – looks like they could use more servers.

An incredible experience during our brief stop at Mount Shasta. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. We’ll definitely return to the restaurant during our next nearby show to shoot some videos. ✌️

This place was pretty busy on a Monday evening around 6:30. Definitely worth the wait. The tables and chairs were memorable as the chairs are comfortable and on wheels. The staff was busy and smiling, I will definitely return when I am back in the area.

The Ribeye Steak was amazing with a double portion of veggies excluding the potato because I am on a Ketogenic Diet. A side salad with oil and vinegar with water to drink.

The only reason we ate here is because we stayed here.

First impressions: near empty room, sticky tables, slow and not very personable service (until the bill came – at which point, he was all smiles). Ambience and patronage seemed very retirement home. Sunday is free beer with Burger night, which all of the other tables seemed to be taking advantage of. There wasn’t a minute that went by that wasn’t filled with coughing. At a certain point it became humourous.

Food – tried to stay in the safety zone based on the above observations, so ordered the soup of the day (chicken chilie verde soup), baked potato and French dip.

Chicken Chile Verde soup was actually pretty good but I think it says a lot about the restaurant’s lack of caring when they serve a Mexican soup with oyster crackers – it would be so easy to swap out for tortilla strips!

Baked potato was completely cold. Toppings consisted mostly of sour cream and a few cold flimsy bacon chips – not even crispy baked (they would have been better off with cold store bought bacon bits!).

French dip was maybe the highlight of the horrible dinner, even though it was just ok. Very plain tasting meat with no flavor, no cheese or other toppings; bread was totally dry.

Everything about the restaurant (and the hotel for that matter) shows a lack of caring.

Stopped here to charge our EV and went into this restaurant to have some snacks.
We ordered Cheesecake, and I have never had such soft and yummy cheesecake before.
Onions Rings were so big and crunchy! You know how you bite an onion ring and the onion just slide off from the better!!!! Not here!!! You will be biting off onion with its batter in every single bite.
Good service & good food!

Fabulous restaurant and cocktail lounge in the BW Hotel. I was craving fish and chips, and the very friendly server answered all my questions, took my order, and was quick with my food. The fish were crispy, moist fillets, and the fries were delightful (I’m not a real French fries person). Loved the food!

Good ribeye, but it could have been GREAT! if they had cooked it as I requested, medium, NOT well done! The picture shows the only 2 tiny weenie barely pink spots. I feel if that if I pay $41 for a steak I should get it the way I asked for it, but thank goodness it was so full of quality it was good. Otherwise I would have just returned it and ate more salad, because I don’t complain and accept food after I complain, since COVID. The world is different and I don’t complain in person, if I want to return.

Also the food server was nice but did not remove one single dish nor glass during our entire meal!!! This not a truck stop, I was surprised and disappointed. Plus she had trouble remembering what the identical looking beverages were as she put them down both times.

My son’s Teriyaki dish was overpowered with teriyaki sauce, tooooo much!

But overall, we enjoyed ourselves and would return.

It was decent. The fish and chicken were most likely frozen patties repacked into fancy meals, but still tasted good. The pretzel bites were great. The waiter and other staff were very nice and helpful, but service kind of slow (which is pretty common at all places these days, so I don’t fault them for that). Prices were pretty good for the local area. Big windows to view beautiful local scenery and comfortable seating, lots of space for busy nights. Really nice patio that I would love to sit at if I go in the warmer months. It’s near a hotel so plenty of parking and walking distance if you are staying nearby. Overall decent experience, casual fine dining look/feel without having to dress up.
