Came here for a graduation party in the private room. Our bartender was attentive and the drinks were mixed well. I had pizza and beef, both were good. I wish they had a spoon for us to add extra juice to the beef. Pizza had a good crust and flavor. The wings/nuggets were served with two sauces that you add yourself. Flavor was ok. I would try this place for a normal sit down meal.

Nicely done.
Great ambiance and better food. A little out of the way for a Chicago visit, but well worth the trip. The staff operate like a finely tuned, well oiled machine. Would nice to have something like Coom’s Corner back home, we would definately make it a regular go to place.

The food was terrible. The chicken tenders were burnt and had no flavor, and the grilled chicken sandwich was so dry I couldn’t even eat it. Everything tasted like frozen Sysco food that was just thrown in a fryer or on a grill. Nothing tasted fresh or homemade. It felt lazy and uninspired, and there’s nothing about the experience that would make me return. The owner had to be bleeding money to keep this place open.

Came in for lunch to cure the hangover, got sprite to start then couldnt even finish it… your soda lines at the bar REALLY REALLY need to get cleaned or your seltzer is bad. No excuse for a busy restaurant to have that issue.

A family friendly restaurant and bar owned by former Major League Baseball Player and current Chicago Cubs announcer Ron Coomer.

We were in the area so decided to stop in for a Friday night dinner. We were seated immediately in the bar area that had ” Live” entertainment.

Service was great and their menu features traditional bar food along with tacos, pasta, salads, pizza and a kids menu.

Nice beer selection serving many locally crafted beers.

My wife had their Cauliflower Tacos since she is Gluten free. Generous portion, reasonably priced and loaded with flavor.

I had their Pot Roast Egg Rolls. You get 4 full egg rolls cut in half packed with homemade pot roast, mozzarella and giardiniera. Good flavor but I would have preferred more giardiniera. Comes with a chipotle ranch dipping sauce which was good in flavor but not sure it went with the pot roast.

For a nice friendly environment where you can watch sports games while eating good home cooked food,Cooms is a great choice!

Finally made it here for dinner after years of saying we’d go here sometime. No better day than after a big Cubs win!

Nice sized bar inside and out. They have a patio in front for eating outside and plenty of room inside for dining and drinks. Food and service were great. I had their pizza and it was really good. I loved their crust for the pizza. Definitely coming back again soon to watch a Cubs game there and enjoy a few beers watching the game. Enjoy!!!

Awesome place, the food was amazing!! There is only one place where I loved the drunken shrimp which is CoopersHawk Winery but when I had it at Cooms Corner, definitely Coopershawk worthy as well. It was delicious!! 100% recommend!!

Coom’s Corner Sports Grill is a good neighborhood bar. It’s not going to blow you away with a huge beer list, but they’re not trying to do that here. That said, they do have some good selections on draft. They were out of a few but did have the Brookstone APA and the Sketchbook Clearance.
Enjoyed Wings tossed in a BBQ/Sriracha mix, kids enjoyed the crunchy waffles fries… Mac and cheese wasn’t a hit for their taste. Staff was friendly and it was a great spot to stop in, watch some football and grab a quick bite.

I was excited to finally try this place being both a Twins and Cubs fan but was pretty disappointed by the service of one. Bartender Kristy was very cold but apparently only to me. She spoke to others, cleaned others areas, asked others how their drinks and food was but not for me. She seemed upset when I was there. Unfortunate, because another server, Kristina who had dropped my food off, and had other tables, was much more inviting. The food on the other hand was great. I do plan on coming back eventually and trying out again.
