They have awesome food at a The Thursday night rib special is awesome. And the turkey club is incredible. The one picture is half the sandwich. The prices are incredibly reasonable. My club sandwich was $12.95 and the ribs were a special on Thursday and I forget what I paid price

Our food was excellent, service superb. My salmon was good and my husband really enjoyed his bangers and mash.
Our only problem was there was music playing in a couple different areas that clashed with each other. Both were loud enough to be heard but not enough to dominate. And definitely not the same style. (We were seated in the dining room.) Could still talk over it, but for people who enjoy music, it was near impossible to get comfortable with it.

I used to go to Coomb’s all the time. It was THE go to place for great steaks at great prices. York’s hidden gem. Well, it had been a while since I had been there, and unfortunately, things are not what they used to be. Now under new management, the prices have been increased tremendously, and the food quality has suffered. The prime rib is no longer top tier, but rather average to below average fare. It saddens me that a place that used to be so good had changed for the worse. The staff however are very nice, so this review is not a reflection of service.

Ordered some food for pick up around 930. Ate it fresh in the parking lot, lol, I just don’t like the restaurant experience. Ordered a crab burger and a bacon cheeseburger. (I’m currently sampling the crab burgers or crab cake burgers at places and comparing them to find the best). The burgers were overcooked (ordered one med and one med-well). They were both pretty medium well to well. They were dry and not seasoned at all. The crab burger was decent; jumbo lump crab meat with American cheese. It needed salt or old bay seasoning, which I knew would so I got the crab fries with old bay. The addition of the fries improved the lack of seasoning for the burger and the crab. The brioche bun was not toasted at all. Just plain, dry bread. Buttered and toasted would have been awesome. Fries were delicious, hot and crispy. Advertised “included” lettuce, tomato, and onion were not present. Overall not bad, just not worth the money they want for it.

The new cook has improved the already delicious food. She has made this officially my favorite place for prime rib. She also cooks veggies better than they had in the past.

This is an odd review because so much wasn’t up to par but my meal was so good anything less than a five star didn’t seem right. So the good. Hands down the excellent prime rib. It was one of the best I had. The oyster appetizers that came out after our meal was delivered were also good. Super bring. The BLT toast was so hard it was inedible. Everyone else ate prime rib do I’d recommend staying with that.
The atmosphere needs a lot to be desired and the staffs disdain for their work was something they had no issues not keeping to themselves.

First impressions lead to a night of disappointment. First we were barely acknowledged by the host who was not friendly. Waitress seemed to care less about taking care of her customers, ordered a side which was not delivered as ordered, had to wave the waitress down to get her attention. When the side was brought to the table it was just dropped off and nothing said or asked. Never asked if we wanted any other drinks after the first drink. Overall customer service is what ruined the night. Portions were small and pricing for drinks inflated. First and last visit unfortunately, was hoping to have a good diner, with the number of choices on the menu we likely would return.

The food was amazing and the price was good.
My husband had the ribs, crab cake, shrimp with 2 sides. The ribs were huge and they were amazing the next two days.
I had crab and shrimp with 2 sides and that was amazing as well. Very little if any filler. Only sad part was we missed out on the corn bread.
