This is a very quaint place. Stayed in Dundee for a weekend visit to Ann Arbor. The two young ladies serving at the counter were great. I love the atmosphere/ vibe inside as well. Coffee is not bad. Good medium roast. I would recommend. The breakfast sandwiches are pretty good also.
Definitely a place worth visiting.

Upon walking in you’re greeted with an atmosphere that screams coziness and chairs that will challenge your best lazy boy. While waiting for some tasty brew, the antique shop pokes your curiosity with books and knickknacks from your childhood. Homemade bakery goods prey upon your sweet tooth while the taste of great coffee washes away the guilty pleasure. Thank you guys for a great experience and memories!

The coffee is fine and the atmosphere is quaint. The seats are comfy and it’s nice to walk around the antique shop. The donuts are baked in house but for some reason they just never feel fresh even when they are. The bars are really good though! Those hold up way better.
Overall, pretty good small town coffee joint.

Super cute! Loved the plants so much, they had art work from local school kids hanging on the walls. There is an antique store located “next door” (The entrance to the antique store is the coffee shop entrance). I got an Oreo Frappe, a chocolate cheesecake bite, and later decided on a bacon and cheese scone. My husband got one of the egg and ham breakfast sandwiches (they serve breakfast during all open hours) and a strawberry banana smoothie. We loved all of it. Very good! They have checkers available to play while eating or drinking. They also have outdoor seating on the sidewalk. Overall very cute and comfortable. I really loved the natural artsy vibe.

I loved this place! My husband doesn’t drink coffee but was able to get a tea and he loved this place. We met friends from Philly here, were able to visit and talk, and we all ended up buying books. Totally a place to hang and enjoy a beverage.

This is one of a very limited offering in the area for coffee or baked goods, but what a lovely little spot! The staff was super friendly and the menu is full of di erse offerings from ice cream to savory snacks. The sausage roll was amazing and the coffee is just strong enough and yummy enough to legitimately compete with shops we frequent in the city. If you love taking a minute to poke around, there is a lot to see, and the baked goods were SO tempting, even for a sugarless girl like myself. It’s really great, and as long as it’s still here next year, we’ll probably add it to our southbound travel tradition.

Good but whenever I ask for a flavored coffee, I don’t taste the flavor at all. The pastries are out of this world

I found Cool Beanz Coffee completely by luck during a drive to Ohio to pick up a coffee maker, and I’m so glad I did. What I thought would be a quick caffeine stop turned into one of the best parts of my trip.
I ordered a bubble tea and a sandwich, and both were absolutely fantastic. The bubble tea was perfectly balanced—just the right amount of sweetness and those fresh, chewy pearls that are oddly addictive. The sandwich tasted incredibly fresh, like it was made with real care and quality ingredients. You can tell this place doesn’t cut corners.
The vibe is what really sealed the deal for me. The staff is warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience. There’s this creative energy in the air that makes you want to hang out for a while—which is exactly what I did.
Right next door (and fully connected) is a charming antique shop, and get this: there’s an indoor koi pond in the book section. Yes, you read that right. A koi pond, surrounded by shelves of old books. It felt like something out of a movie—quiet, whimsical, and totally unexpected.
Cool Beanz isn’t just a coffee shop. It’s a hidden gem full of personality and heart. If you’re anywhere nearby (or even just passing through), make the stop. You won’t regret it.

Friendly staff and the coffee is great. The desserts are always incredible and fresh donuts everyday! Monthly special menu. The antiques are priced on the high side but still a cool collection!
