We highly recommend this new coffee shop! We stopped by on a whim and were super surprised by how delicious the food and drinks are, and how quickly and beautifully it’s all prepared. The staff are also very friendly! We’ll definitely be back soon to try out more of their dishes.

Tried this place for first time and we will be back! Had the shashuka and it was pretty good. We like ours a little spicier but it was still a good hearty breakfast. Also, had the ham and cheese omelette which came with a side salad and rustic bread…sooo good. Def recommend the iced matcha latte with strawberry jam and one with strawberry mango jam. On a whim we decided to try the honey cake we’ve heard so much about and it did not disappoint! My new favorite dessert! Adis was very friendly and helped make recommendations as it was our first time there. Great little family owned coffee shop with a little something for everyone. We want to try their coffees next and those fluffy pancakes…yummm

This place is tucked away and has the perfect cozy cafe vibes. Only a few tables inside with a few more outside.

The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and the avocado egg toast. Both were delicious. The coffee is good and the latte was not too sweet (which I prefer). The breakfast was yummy and filling but not heavy in the slightest. Will definitely come back!

Cute place with delicious food and drinks. The staff is friendly and it is convenient to park in the free parking lot.

I loved the sage green decor because it felt very cozy and calming. Their logo with three little beans wearing sunglasses is also very cute.

The strawberry orange lemonade is sweet with a bit of tang. My toddler loved it.

I liked how the chocolate chip cookies are nut-free for those with nut allergies.

The iced matcha latte was refreshing with the right amount of matcha. I don’t like it when there is too much and it tastes bitter.

The mirrored signboard outside was a cute touch, and my kiddo had fun checking out her reflection. 🙂

We recently visited Cool Beans for breakfast. The place is small and very clean, with attractive plates and cups that enhance the breakfast experience. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the vegetable omelet, syrniki, honey cake, cappuccino, and citrus tea. The waiting and cooking times were quick. We certainly plan to return to explore more of their menu. We highly recommend this local spot!

Stopped in here last night to pick up some dessert. They have a nice selections of drinks from Espresso to Matcha. The desserts are excellent. I picked up the Russian Honey Cake (Medovik) and some Red Velvet cookies that had whote chocolate and cream cheese inside. Will definitely come back. Please support this local Torrance business!

DELICIOUS SYRNIKI. My first time ever trying that type of pancake and it was remarkable.

Their shakshouka was the best one I’ve ever had by far- wish the portion was bigger because I could’ve eaten more .The tomato had a freshness to it and the texture was more chunky in veggies pieces that stood out amongst the other shakshouka I’ve had that were a bit more wet and saucy. Different people, different preference – I get it… but I personally loved the chunkiness.

The matcha tonic drink was ssoooooo refreshing for a warm afternoon.

It’s cute little cafe with maybe 6 seats inside, but a few more on the outside. Parking is plenty. The two ladies working were so convincing on their menu items, I swear I wanted everything. But that means we’ll have to return and try the others.

I stopped by Cool Beans last week after dropping my son off at preschool. I planned to just grab a quick morning coffee, but couldn’t resist trying one of their pastries too. Everything was delicious and truly felt made with love. The owner happened to be there and was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. Such a lovely start to the day — I’ll definitely be back.

I’ve recently found Cool Beans & Friends and it’s quickly become my go-to spot in Torrance. What really stands out is how genuinely friendly the staff are – they greet you with actual warmth, not the forced kind you get at chain coffee shops. They clearly care about what they’re doing.
The coffee here is excellent. I’ve tried plenty of different cooffes and all were made perfectly. You can tell they pay attention to the details and use quality beans. But honestly, it’s not just about the coffee.
The food is really good too. I had their mushroom omelet and the cakes, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. The honey cake is worth trying if you have a sweet tooth.
The vibe is cozy without being cramped, and the service is quick even when they’re busy. It’s the kind of neighborhood spot where you feel comfortable sitting down with a friend or just grabbing something on your way out. The prices are fair for what you get, especially considering the quality and the fact that everything is made with care.
If you’re in the area and looking for good coffee and real food made by people who actually care, this is the place.
