New Smyrna Beach – went out searching for a local coffee shop. Came across cool beans cafe. A really cute coffee shop with many types of coffees -hot and cold. Some pastries also. They have a nice outdoor area that is tucked off the street. Coffee was really good -so much so we went back the next day as well. Right off Flagler Ave. some of the pictures are a few shops right next door.

This is our favorite coffee shop to stop by at whenever we’re done with the beach. They have a small indoor area with some stools, but we love to cool down in the shade on their outdoor patio with some gelato and a cold brew (or affogato!). Good place for some peace and quiet just off the main road. They even have cold beer, wine and mixed drinks!

Their gelato is a scoop of heaven. It’s slightly hidden from the street but has a nice seating area with open sky and a babbling fountain. Truly the best gelato in New Smyrna.

Such a cute coffee shop, a short walk from the beach. We ordered lattes with lavender, the “paradise”, and they were tasty, refreshing, and didn’t taste like soapy/fake lavender. They also use coffee ice cubes which I appreciated!

It’s a very sweet teeny coffee cafe with usually just one person on duty, so don’t go if you’re in a hurry. There is a very nice outdoor courtyard to relax in with some shade and charming pots and plants everywhere. There are a few muffins and bakery choices there. Both times I visited the latte was great. They have some interesting bags of ground coffee for sale and a few other things. Oddly enough, they had dried shiitake mushroom snacks in chip size packages made by a company called Pan. I’m always looking for good ways to eat mushrooms because they’re excellent for your immune system. I tried these and they were great. Chewy like beef jerky, believe it or not.
