we were in Logan today and happened upon Cooks Underground. we both had an absolutely stellar experience. i had the cbsa, my husband had the deep bleu, and we shared garlic fries. Ruby suggested the roumelade dipping sauce. everything was delicious, it was so fresh and flavorful. hands down the best part of the experience was chatting with Ruby, you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. oh, also, we took the bread pudding to go and devoured it before we even got out of Logan city limits.

This is an awesome local spot for handcrafted burgers and flavorful sides. The burgers are fresh and tasty, the garlic fries are a must‑try, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. They had this special dessert with pumpkin and everything I tried was delicious. Definitely worth stopping by when you’re in Logan!

I stumbled across this gem when a local favorite was closed. I am very glad I did! I ordered an Aggie Burger with Garlic Fries and a roumalade sauce. The atmosphere is a bit industrial and dining area on the small side but I enjoyed viewing a Charlie Chaplain movie projected on the wall. The burger and fries was brought to my table and looked fantastic. Once I tasted the food I was astonished. Simply the best fries I have ever been served. No lie. Perfectly crispy and delicate. The sauce was a great compliment. The burger was a great size and I didn’t lnow if I could finish but ot was so delicious I surprised to eat every bite. The bun really does make the burger and this was no exception. Well…i will post a picture and let you decide. Overall, the price was worth the experience!

Walked in and was immediately greeted by a chef who walked us through the menu. So already amazing service. I got the ring of fire burger. Genuinely never had a tastier burger in my life, and this is coming from someone who has gone to several dozen local burger spots. The pineapple on the burger was something ive never tried… and HOLY. If you havent tried this place, you absolutely should

We found Cook’s Underground by Googling Logan Best Restaurants. Everything is made fresh, with the exception of drinks and some condiments. Fresh baked breads and buns were exceptional. It is a smaller place but could easily accommodate a small lunch crowd or dinner. We were there at 2:00 on a Friday afternoon, missing the lunch crowd. Ideal for us. The Charlie Chaplin movie playing was fun to watch while eating.
I had the Fresh Hand Breaded Fish PoBoy. It was very large and it was delicious. Do not order it if you can’t stand a messy, but delicious sandwich. For me the sauce was a bit overpowering but others probably enjoy it that way. I prefer the taste of food with hints of sauces and I don’t mind a messy sandwich. I will not reduce stars because of my taste preferences. Fresh fried fish, and a lot of them, and garlic fries were great. My husband had the Blue Aggie Burger. He ate the whole thing, two beef patties and all. That says a lot for him as far as deliciousness goes. He had regular French fries and enjoyed them as well.
We would have shared the Orange Marmalade Bread Pudding but we couldn’t eat anymore and it’s a 50 mile drive home to sit miserably full for that long! It looked divine though.
Bottom line we will return.

Cozy environment. Order at counter or with QR code at table.
The garlic fries are legendary, and come with choice of several dipping sauces. I had the Fire Aioli which went well.
The burgers are of the semi-smashed variety and have a great crust. I got the Up In Smoke, which had bacon, provolone and a nice aioli sauce.
They have bread puddings. Today’s was Orange Marmalade, which was delightful. It even came with a pair of caramelized orange slices which may have been for decoration but are edible!
Good environment, music and helpful/patient staff. Spot of popcorn available while waiting for your order. Will return.

I’m shocked this place doesn’t have more reviews. Great burger and awesome fries. I will be coming back. A picture says 1000 words

Do NOT use the QR code order system.
We visited for lunch with my daughters and some friends. It was our first time, and the restaurant was very busy. Since we weren’t sure what to order, we decided to use the QR code system at our table, as suggested on the wall. Our friends ordered at the register because they already knew what they wanted.
I had just finished paying through the QR system when our friends rejoined us, and at first I thought the setup was genius. After about 20 minutes, our friends received their meals, but ours still hadn’t arrived. I understood they were busy, so we continued to wait. When I noticed people who arrived after us getting their food, I asked for an update. That’s when we were told their printer hadn’t been working, so our order never went through.
We eventually received our food about an hour after ordering. The meals looked great, and we were so hungry by then that we practically inhale our food. The food itself was ok and I would be willing to try this restaurant again, but I would avoid using the QR code ordering system and order at the register instead.
