The place was completely empty at 10:30pm on a Saturday, however the DJ was fun and played whatever we wanted to hear. The bartender was okay at first but tried pushing a drink on me that I didn’t order which made me a little uncomfortable as a young woman. I declined and pushed it away multiple times and continued dancing to the awesome DJ’s music. The DJ would get 5 stars from me!

I was a regular before the new owner, I used to love trap, I’ve spent thousands of dollars over the years but, the vibes of the bar have gotten really boring since the new owner has taken over. it was my first time in there since the ownership. The bright paint that caught your eye on the doors, has been covered up with a dull gray. A skeeball machine and pool table that people huddled around all night have been replaced with empty couches. There’s nothing to do in there now. Drink prices increases significantly, and old staff was fired and replaced. Don’t think I’ll go back anytime soon

Came here on an overnight stay between Seattle and San Fran and it was the perfect spot! The bartender was absolutely fantastic and gave us lots of local tips and insights. He made us a ton of very yummy drinks and was always extremely helpful and attentive. We came a little early on a Friday (around 6 pm) and it was fairly quiet for a few hours. Started to pick up later in the evening. Great music, some games in one of the rooms, and a very cool floor made from pennies. Would absolutely recommend this place for anyone wanting to hang out or party.

Atmosphere was great! Had a good DJ. The service was okay. Our drinks were getting served in plastic cups including shots . The bartender Chris refused to open a new bottle for another customers drink which was odd, he said “it’s to hard to open the bottle” .

The trap door is a great Phoenix rising from the ashes of Ashland’s most legendary venues (the old vynil club) with great ambiance and seating. The lower ceiling actually give a nice classic speak easy feeling. With contemporary design and modern look.. great staff ambitious owner ship.. tasty craft cocktails and quality spirit selection. Amazing nibbles / menu items. Are youthful and edgy. With quality embedded in the choices that change with the seasons.
Great spot very inclusive and open door to the world. And all the walks of life within it. I had an amazing new years eve there. Great performance, great people. Definitely a good spot to catch a vibe. Some tunes. Some tequila and some tasty treats.

Chris was super attentive and asked questions about our drink preferences to ensure we had a great experience. Cozy and dark, we had a couple cocktails and relaxed at the end of our day. We’ll be back to try the food at this inclusive and welcoming spot.
