Very nice interiors, friendly staff and most importantly great food. Everything we had was delicious: taramas 10/10, the cheese pie with leeks super crunchy and great filling, fish was cooked well, the ox cheeks were sublime! Definitely worth visiting, and can’t wait to go back.

Back to one of my favorite restaurants (since it’s opening back in 2010) for dinner with friends yesterday. Especially after the latest renovation and with chef Pericles Koskinas steady in the realm I would say it’s better than ever. Whether you opt for a signature fish plate like bianco or grilled meat like Picanha (like I did this time) everything is perfect. Try for sure the fried zucchini!
It is a classic now – better than anything around ex Hilton (including Vezene)

This is unbelievably the worst experience we had in a decade. Ambience is ok, atmosphere is fine. Although, service is not on the level that is to be expected on a Fine dine restaurant. As far as the food, this is a joke. Tavern-like food, overpriced without any imagination. Green salad 19 EUR (no protein, no cheese no fruit, no nuts, just greens and cucumber). Pie, meatballs with cheese and eggplants ok but not worth the 20+EUR for those, same quality can be found in taverns. Spanish Picanha, was served raw and we sent it back. Instead of creating new dish or putting up a new piece of meat, they took the already cut pieces and placed them on the stove, so it became very hard and chewy. Beef cheeks, no imagination, full of fat, no rendering. The desert looked interesting but the implementation was very bad. No imagination, no flavor, nothing new to bring to the table. I think this is a tourist trap. People living in Athens would never spend 350EUR for 4 persons with only 1 bottle of rose wine for this kind of food and this is why the restaurant is full of tourists.

This is a very nice restaurant with an elegant, tasteful interior. You can tell that a lot of attention was put into the design — it feels refined but comfortable. The tables are well spaced, offering a sense of privacy that many places lack, and the restaurant itself is quite spacious.
The food is excellent and the wine selection is truly impressive — carefully chosen and perfectly matched with the menu.
The only reason I didn’t give it five stars for the service. Perhaps we were drinking a bit faster than usual, but we often had to pour our own wine, which slightly took away from the otherwise classy experience.
Overall, it’s a sophisticated and stylish restaurant, ideal for a nice evening out — though not exactly cheap.

The food was generally very good, and the absolute highlights were the steak and sea bass, both were truly outstanding. Service was fast and the staff were attentive throughout our meal. Since we visited as a large group, there were a few small hiccups, but nothing that really affected the experience.
Even though the weather was lovely in November, the outdoor seating wasn’t available; perhaps it opens in the summer, who knows? Overall, I was satisfied with the restaurant and enjoyed the evening.

The restaurant is definitely in the top 10% of local greek cuisine. Modern approach to excellent ingredients with talented kitchen staff and very good table service. My waitress Anastasia was fabulous, charming and knew the menu. Praises to chef the cuisine- Anna. They have one more new location on an island.

Really dissapointing food. Extremely expensive for what it is. A salad of basically boiled potatoes for €20, the tiniest piece of amberjack fish served with literaly half a zuchini for €38, the driest piece of seabass fish served with barely boiled wild greens for €35. An untasteful joke. The service was great though! The tables near the open kitchen get way too much heat, best avoid.

I’m going this place the benefit of the doubt, it came highly recommended but I wasn’t blown away by this meal. The raw fish of the day was so citrusy it was overpowering, I couldn’t enjoy the natural flavors of the raw fish or other ingredients, it was just a melange of textures “a la limon.” Truly disappointing bc I love a good crudo, and it wasn’t cheap. My second dish was was the slow cooked goat, it was juicy and tender, but slightly on the sweet side which isn’t my preferred flavor profile but others might enjoy it. The potatoes that accompany it were more like potato chips than fries. The staff was kind, and the restaurant is beautiful, don’t know if I will give it another try as its quite pricy.
One other thing, I didn’t enjoy the style of service here in Athens that I experienced a few times at fine dining restaurants. As soon as you sit down, the waiter appears and, even before you get the menu they ask if you would like a certain item, it feels rushed, the client feels pressured and its s bit sneaky to ask if they want to have something like bread if its a premium product w an upsell without letting them know. I’d give this place a 3.9 if I could but since its not a 3 I’ll give it a 4, in my opinion.

Fantastic food, friendly service, spacious space, elegant atmosphere.
I went there with a big group with work colleagues. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to different diat requirements.
Because we were a bug group we had a set menu, still plenty to choose from.
All the food was fresh and delicious.
We were the loudest group there, thank you for the staff for being so friendly and accommodating to a big group of Australians.

Visited for dinner and ordered via the a la carte menu.
The atmosphere is beautiful and the waiting staff were very friendly and as attentive as they should be.
Many of the items were great (with the exception of the Greek rib eye which was slightly underwhelming) but they all lacked the wow factor you expect at such a price range.
The Spanish beef fillet was amazing and definitely the highlight of the night.
All in all, Cookoovaya is a very nice option in the area, but there are far better options at this price range.
