Big thanks to everyone at Cooking Girls in Montrose for the amazing service! I had no idea about this place until my ex-girlfriend suggested I try it, and I’m so glad she did. The food was outstanding absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and some of the best Chinese I’ve ever had. Every dish we tried was perfect and cooked to perfection.
The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the drinks are awesome too. The whole experience was fantastic, and I can’t wait to go back. If you’re looking for amazing Chinese food with top-notch service, this is definitely the place to be!

This one is the perfect 2nd type and exactly what I wanted!
Got General Tso’s Chicken and Pork Pan Fried Wontons (white rice) and a perfect easy and simple meal for myself. Also 1st time I knew ot existed and had a Kirin Lite (beer)!

I went for the first time to this Restaurant on Sunday around 8pm. It was full since it’s a small place. We didn’t wait long to get a table. The food came pretty quick I was amazed at that. The atmosphere was perfect because it was quiet and you could really talk and enjoy your mean. I was very impressed by the flavor or the food and the presentation. It tasted really good. I will definitely be coming back to eat there again.

My fiance and I went to dinner here and we were commenting on the prices but once the food came out…the food was so worth the price. So freaking good. And the ladies working there were super nice and sweet. I asked my fiance why this place wasn’t packed with people because the food is seriously so delicious. Please, go eat at Cooking Girl, u won’t be disappointed! And FYI, I had the salt and pepper shrimp…sooooo good!

The parking lot in front of the restaurant is small, but additional parking is available. The seating area is pleasant and adequate for the size of the business. They have a large selection of food and a full bar. The wait staff service was excellent, and wait time for food after ordering was almost non-existent. We ordered the food, and within the next 5 minutes, they started bringing out plate after plate of food once the were being maid. With 10 minutes, we had all of our food delivered to the table. The food itself was excellent, my wife loved the eggplant dish, and I loved the noodles. We were very surprised with this little hidden gem and will be going back.

Here to say that the food was good, but I keep comparing it to others. That’s why I rate it overall 4 stars. Out of all the items I ordered, hot boiled beef was my favorite! Very tasty! The place is super cute and waiting staff is extremely kind but did not follow up for refills. The atmosphere was quiet, so don’t expect to have super loud conversations here lol. Overall I had a good experience! Parking lot is suuuuper small. Be ready for that!

We went on a weeknight. A friend recommended we go here. I can’t believe we lived so nearby for so long and haven’t been! Has become a new staple. Incredible flavors competing with some of the food you’ll find in bellaire without having to make the drive. Best sichuan food I personally have ever had. Service was great and the portions were a generous size. We ordered the dandan noodles twice. We’ll definitely be back to try some more dishes.

Food was delicious! I liked everything except the xiaolong bao’s. They lacked sufficient soup. The salt and pepper fish and the dan dan noodles were very tasty. They also do eggplant and green beans very well. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
Parking is limited. Wish there were more parking spots on busy nights.
