First visit was yesterday. Had only the Double Burger. It was so big , I had trouble biting it. This is burger perfection! I have returned today for another double, and some fries. The fries are waaay better than McDonald’s, same style. This reminds me of the burger drive-ins from the 80’s . Everyone says the Shakes are superb. Glad that I found this gem nestled in east Sac, I’m bringing the fam back asap! Highly Recommend this place! 10 stars

I have been trying different burgers from this place and I have been enjoying the things on their menu. I have tried 3 of their exotic burgers – the Wild Boar-ger, the Buffalo Burger, and the Elk Burger. The Wild Boar-ger and the Buffalo Burger were good, but the Elk Burger was amazing. The meat and flavor of all of the things it had melted in my mouth so beautifully. I was in a state of bliss while I ate it. The food is a bit pricey but it’s pure quality. All of the seating is outdoors. I had the fries and they were good, but I think if they were thicker and were to add seasonings with the salt, they would be 1000 times better.

Our overall experience was great. This a small burger shack that offers many food, drink and snack options. Outdoor seating is available. We ordered the pastrami burger, pesto chicken sandwich protein style, zucchini sticks, a banana milk shake, and a lime slushi. Very fair pricing, quick service and good food. The banana shake was delicious!! We’ll be back very soon.

Another Sacramento classic since 1963! If you know, you know. They are still lining up at 1:30 in the afternoon. Made to order, hot, fresh and so so good. The dining room is closed. It was rather small anyway, but they have tables and chairs set out around the building. All food is made to go and then find a spot to sit and enjoy.

Got the double with guac, pastrami burger, fries, and mozzarella sticks. Double was a good portion but the flavor was just not there, the theme continued with the Oreo shake (tasted like vanilla and even than it wasn’t very good) and the pastrami burger I was expecting to have a patty with pastrami but it was just pastrami and wasn’t very tasty. Overall for $42 I was left disappointed

Honestly, I was a little shocked in a couple of ways. First and foremost, by-and-large, we are fairly past the pandemic. But not according to these guys. They are still very over the top with precautions. I only say this because it makes the service they offer take longer and is more complex. I feel bad for them. You can’t go in. You have to order from outside. It’s hard to hear them because they double masked up. On top of this, if you can’t pay cash, they charge you a “credit card usage convenience fee”. ♂️ Nothing comes in a meal, it’s all a-la-carte. Fries don’t come with burgers. They cost extra. Burgers are roughly $9 each. The place has very little parking. The building is run down. The signs need to be repaired and painted so that you can read. The portion on the burgers are small. 1/5 pound, 1/4 pound… anyhow, the positive in all of this was that my grease burger was decent tasting. Overall, its spendy, low quality, not easy transaction, not quick, but at least you’ll get a decent hamburger in Sacramento.

Most bland food I’ve had in a while, their bbq sauce taste like it’s mixed with ketchup. The chili cheese fries are just nacho cheese and hamburger mashed up. Everything needed seasoning. We tried the mushroom burger the chili cheese fries the nuggets and the double burger. Very disappointed spending 40 dollars on dinner for it to be bland. My boyfriend and I wanted to try something new around Sacramento but that was a mistake and we will be sticking to our usuals from now on!

The food tasted really fresh. I had the pesto chicken sandwich, and the pesto, mushrooms, grilled onions, and cheese really made it great. The buns are really good too, which you can’t always say at burger places! My boyfriend got the bacon blue cheese burger and he liked it too.
