This is a charming standalone ice cream shop that I recently discovered. They offer a variety of toppings and flavors to choose from, as well as different sizes, ranging from the smallest for toddlers to larger options. During the fall season, I consistently opt for pumpkin spice, and their pumpkin shake was exceptionally delicious.

Saturday night we ventured out with friends to Cookies and Cream by Sprout Bake under WEE BEAN and 20 Front Street and glad we did, seeing that they are open for 8 more days till they close and reopen next April.
They serve all kinds of goodies, including premium and vegan ice cream, ice cream bars, x-treme shakes and made-from-scratch cookies. Some of their items have no artificial colors or flavors and no high fructose corn syrup.
We purchased the following scoop and a half of:
– Michigan Pothole
– Salted Mocha Caramel Chip
– Vanilla Shake
– Vanilla Chocolate Chip
Don’t forget to leave a nice tip, our server did a great job and even brought our order to us on a tray.
Outdoor games include Cornhole, giant Connect Four along with sidewalk chalk. Plus Children’s Park is directly across the bridge.
Cornhole is fun, however the adults that were playing were a little loud.
From June through August there is not only free live music every Friday from 7-8 pm on their outdoor stage but kids night on Tuesdays
6:30-8:00.
And if you arrived by bike, there a bike repair station close by along with chairs and picnic tables to relax.

What a treasure I discovered yesterday at Cookies and Cream! Such a cute little ice cream place in an adorable location! I had a hot caramel sundae. The whipped cream tasted like it had just been whipped. The vanilla ice cream was probably the best vanilla ice cream I have ever had. And the caramel was also to die for. It was service with a smile as well. They are located on the edge of a sweet playground in downtown Lake Orion. Definitely worth a trip!

This ice cream shop was average for me. My experience could have been more enjoyable if the shop had a better menu selection of ice cream flavors and if the customer service was held at a higher standard.
The menu only offers ten flavors of ice cream. The options were popular flavors a person can easily purchase from most grocery stores (for example: chocolate, coffee & Heath, vanilla, chocolate chip cookie dough, strawberry, and more). Menu flavors “Blue Moon” and “Superman” are ones that I am not familiar with.
I asked the cashier what is the flavor for the Blue Moon and Superman, and she responded with its colors (blue for Blue Moon and blue/yellow/red for Superman). She seemed unsure at my question; I just wanted to know how each of those two ice creams taste. I asked her again, and she did not know.
In the end, Black Raspberry Chip was the flavor I ordered.

Nestled in the downtown park of Lake Orion, its a place where you can enjoy a variety of gluten-free, dairy free, nut free baked goods and the famous Rays ice cream that we all love so much! Cookies and cream is a great little addition to downtown Lake Orion. They have a great location right next to the park and along the Polly Ann Trail. Along with ice cream they have gluten free and vegan dessert options including homemade cookies and muffins they even have frozen dough that you can take home and make in your own time that is delicious. The small town park feeling is enhanced by a community bike rack for kids to jump on a bike ride around the park and just leave the bike back in the rack when they’re done. Downtown Lake Orion is a nicer place because of Cookies and Cream.

We went on Friday and paid $7.15 for this “medium” swirl with sprinkles. The cup wasn’t even half full and lasted 3 bites making each one $2+. Pathetic and subpar quality.

I can’t help but stop at this cute little ice cream shop in downtown Lake Orion when I’m there! It’s conveniently located next to Children’s Park and offers a wide variety of ice cream flavors. Had a nice little chat with the owner of the store, you couldn’t find anyone more friendlier!

Amazing! Right by a river and a park for children and anybody who wants to fish and then they have their own game set up outside so that you can play and you can do color chalk on the wall walls and there’s plenty of seating in parking in the ice cream is so good and there’s usually no weight at all and there’s always music playing and it’s just a great area to be at

This place is so adorable and wisely situated. They have large yard games, tons of picnic tables, and a beautiful alley terrace. Plus, it’s right at the children’s park and the river! And, there’s convenient parking right there. What a great place to relax and enjoy a yummy treat. I believe there’s even a coffee shop right next door.
