Cooked For You is delicious, convenient, and perfect for the family! Stopped in to check out the meals they had. So many options. I went with the Asian Platters. I’ve ordered from Cooked For You a few times now and everything has been seriously great. The lasagna, the chicken shawarma, and a few other dishes I’ve tried have all been fantastic. You can tell it’s made from scratch and not just thrown together — really good flavor and just solid, comforting meals.
The owner/chef is also just a genuinely nice guy, which makes it even better to support the business. It feels personal, not corporate.
Honestly, it doesn’t cost much more than going to the store and buying all the ingredients yourself — except you save the time, effort, and cleanup. Totally worth it. I’ll definitely keep ordering.

I ordered lunch for everyone at work and some of us had dietary restrictions but Cooked For You were so good about it. They told me what their vegetarian options were and made some changes for the person that needed it to make things more vegetarian friendly. Everything was so good! I had the chicken shawarma and it was excellent plus everyone had enough for lunch and dinner. I will definitely be returning.

The artisan style personal pizza I got was so good that I totally forgot to take a picture of it before finishing it. I’ve also had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes which were also fantastic! Oh and the dumplings as well. They were better than any dumpling I’ve ever had at an Asian restaurant.

Recently my New Jersey crew came to NC for a visit. They rented a house on the Lake in Sherrills Ford and invited me to stay with them. Everyone was responsible for a dinner. So naturally I reached out to Chef Eric at Cooked For You. He planned a menu for me for eight…roasted chickens, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans with bacon and balsamic. Dessert was the amazing individual cheesecakes covered luscious ganache.
I picked the first night to provide dinner so when all the weary travelers arrived from their 10-hour drive, dinner was warming in the oven. Everything was superb!

The service, food, and quality were all excellent. The owner was extremely kind and approachable. I picked up a picnic dinner meal of Chicken Shawarma, Homeade Tzatziki, and Israeli Salad for my wife and I, and it was perfect.
We will be back. If you are visiting or have lived in Lincolnton for a while, this is a great business to support and a must to stop-in.
