Cook’d will be serving lunch and dinner during the week with breakfast, lunch, and dinner being offered on the weekend. From our bottomless mimosas, Bloody Marys, frozen tumbleweeds, extensive wine list from around the globe, local beer and meats, projector and flat screens for all the games, Cook’d is sure to satisfy any and all. We checked out this place for lunch one day while visiting the area. First of all, our service was perfect. Thanks, Tony, for being there for every request and elevating our visit. We were there for the lunch special that includes Tuesdays. I had the two of the local IPA’s and one of them I hadn’t even had since being in town for a few days. Good selection. The wife got the Zughetti with Alfredo and the soup, and I got the half Bird chicken sandwich (the one that comes with alfredo) with the tomato soup. Our dessert with the special was a local banana pudding. Food was solid. The bar area looked fun, as it was packed with some regulars event. They have video poker at the bar. LOTS of TV’s if looking to watch a game. I actually loved the venue. Whether looking for a nice lunch, needing to see a game, or just wanting to go somewhere with some energy, this is a great spot to stop at. We enjoyed our lunch there. I would recommend this place, and see you there (the next time we are in the area)…

Thank you Ashley G. My husband and I stopped by for lunch. We got the chips and Salsa and the Waaangs. For our lunch my husband got the spicy burger and I got the spicy turkey sandwich. The wings are the best we have had! Everything tasted fresh and came out at a good time. Ashley was amazing. Friendly and sweet. Definitely the best place we have ran into! Thank you!

I stopped in for happy hour and had a great time. This feels like a sports bar more than anything: I could easily see 4-5 different sports from the bar 🙂
From the HH menu, I ordered rosemary parm fries (tasty), rice balls (tasty deep fried risotto-ish), and oysters Rockefeller (also a win.)
Decent craft beer selection, good drinks, tasty slushees, and a nice selection of desserts (the lemon lush was nice.)
Service was friendly and accommodating.

We took a HD ride out 2 Lk Topaz n on the way back stopped n 2 grab a bite, nicely laid out with a cute atrium dinning area n dog friendly patio. Food was surprisingly good, service was great, the bartender was super friendly as was the staff. We wanna C the place at night sumtime 4 dinner cause of all the unique lighting on the patio n atrium. Portions were good n recommend ck’n them out…

So, picture this: My friends and I are cruising down from Lake Tahoe, minding my own business, when suddenly I find myself in the little town of Mindin, NV. Wanted a bite to eat and stumble upon Cookd .
The hostess greets us at the door like she’s been expecting us all along – talk about a warm welcome! She seats us right away, and before I can even say “pizza,” the wait staff swoops in to take our order. It’s a Sunday evening, and lo and behold, they’ve got a deal on pizza – 50% off! But here’s the catch: if you order one, you can only have two take out boxes home in a plastic box. I mean, talk about a slice of the action! Don’t you just love a good food policy that keeps you on your toes? The gluten free cuts I ordered was excellent.
And let’s not forget about the full bar – hello, cocktails! Because what pairs better with pizza than a fancy drink, am I right? The place has a great vibe, but fair warning: those pizzas take their sweet time to come out of the oven. So, if you’re in a rush, maybe stick to the appetizers. But hey, they’ve got a whole menu of other delicious options to keep you satisfied. All in all, Mindin’s got a lot going for it – good food, good drinks, and good times. Who knew a tiny town could pack such a punch? I’d go there again.

Highly recommend, food was great lots of good options very tasty, staff was very friendly and helpful, place was clean, smelled good, and was very small town cozy. I especially liked how it felt open and like even if they were super busy it still would not likely feel crowded. Will be going back to try more of the food and enjoy a great place for date nights with my better half.

Wonderful restaurant and bar with real charm, friendly service and good selection of food to chose from. A great place to stop in and hook up with friends or if you’re just passing through as you make your way up or down highway 395. My wife and I live in Carson City and passed this place countless times in the past but recently stopped in for a drink and dinner with friends and we’ll definitely be coming back again. The bar is well stocked with all kinds of bourbons and liquors and the atmosphere was fun and full of life and without being overwhelming. Of course, if you’re into gaming, they do have machines you can play at the bar. If the weather is nice like it almost always is from spring to fall, outdoor dining is available as well. On our visit, we shared an order of wings and a pizza and both were great.

Possibly the worst dining experience I’ve had in quite a few years. We were seated quickly enough, but the service was slow all around after that. It took a good while to get drinks. Appetizers arrived around the half hour mark which feels insane for chips and dip. Then we sat for nearly an hour and a half more waiting for our main dishes before finally getting fed up and asking where our food was. This was also a joke because the server had stopped checking on us a long time before. I’m guessing it’s because we were in the seating area not near the bar. After a less than satisfactory response to our questioning (ask about our food, they go check and someone else comes out instead to ask us what the problem is, then they go check and someone else comes out to ask us what the problem is, because clearly no one wants to come back and explain to a dissatisfied customer so it took several tries to find out the food still wasn’t done), we ended up paying for what we had actually been served (drinks and the appetizers) and leaving. I got the honest impression that the staff either really don’t care about customers or cater specifically to people who are regulars over anyone else. We saw several people arrive after us and completely finish their meals while we waited. So yeah, I would not recommend this place at all, will definitely let others know if I’m ever asked about the place, and obviously will never go back.

Food was fantastic and came quickly! Service was a bit slow and there wasn’t anyone to greet our family. It said the bar was open seating, but our 5-year-olds can’t sit at the bar So we waited for several minutes until I looked for a server in the bar to ask where to sit.

Went to try to have a family dinner here last night and was so disappointed. As native Nevadans, we love local. Never tried this place and thought we should try it. Being a Friday night I called ahead because were a party of 12(4 being kids) and wanted to make sure they had room. The call was positive and she was warm and welcoming. Stated they had plenty of room and would be ready for us. Got there at 5:45 and was seated immediately. Ordered drinks, all of the mixed drinks were so strong they had no flavor and barely drinkable. Appetizer came quick. Then we waited….and waited…and waited some more. Watching two tables be seated, fed and box up their to go and we still hadn’t gotten our food. 7:45 and still no food. My father gets up and we all agree to go somewhere else. He explained to them is was taking to long and the kids were either falling asleep at the table or crying because they were hungry and bored. 2 hours is unacceptable! They then charged my dad $150 dollars for the Appetizer and drinks! This is not how you run a business. The waitress never checked on us after drinks came, so we sat and watched all the tables get service? We were politely waiting and not a rambunctious group? Kids were well behaved until the very end. 3 of our group being business owners know this is not how you do business. Will not be going back or recommending.
