Wow what a change from fast food service the meals seemed like homemade. Definitely try the hamburgers the taste like they’re right off the grill yummy perfect spot for a quick stop on the motorcycle this summer

My boyfriend and I live in Indiana, we come here whenever we can because there is not one near us. 1hr and 30min drive. It is usually an amazing experience compared to what we have local. Quality and price. But we came here Sunday and Monday. Both times was disappointing. First my regular burger was pink and bigger than my boyfriends double burger and he only got 4 cheese curds with his tray. Second time, both of our cheese curds were tiny portions and I only got 3 freaking nuggets. My cheesecake slice barely has any toppings on it. What is going on? We’ve ate here quite afew times and never had issues with portions, quality, or toppings before. Very disappointing. The girl took longer to swirl my peanut butter and fudge than it took to cook and bag everything. Who wants to eat one part peanut butter and one part fudge??? I wish I had pictures of everything else because it’s been ridiculous.

Cookout is an awesome place to go sit and eat or get it to go. Tons of options on sides and main courses. I usually get two chicken quesadillas and two sides of Cajun fries with barbecue sauce and a caramel fudge milkshake under $10!

The was descent. People were great. But the food for some reason was way off this time. Not much flavor to the Cajun fries. The Taco thing tasted weird. The burger was OK. But way smaller than the bun. I asked for everything on the burger when they asked me what I wanted. And they only gave me tomatoes and onion

Loved our last trip to the cookout in Frankfort. Recommend getting the hot dogs cookout Style. The hot dog chili is minced fine in the coleslaw on top isn’t running. Really good amount of food for the money. They have really good milkshakes, 31 varieties. Make sure you save your receipt because your number that gets called is on there. Quiet atmosphere for the most part. Good place to have a quick meeting for lunch. The In-N-Out on the location can be a little bit tricky.

I really wish there was a cook out in Louisville. Whenever I am in Lexington for my PRN shift I either stop at the Lexington location or the Frankfort location on my way home from work. I enjoy the food. It’s hard to keep from stopping on my way home. I like how late they stay open. The employees move the line pretty fast no matter if you’re in the drive thru or at the walk up window. I like the outside tables when weather permits. The food is tasty and decent priced. Please bring a restaurant to Louisville. The employees are nice.

I have visited dozens of Cook Out locations over the years, including this one, and this experience was notably disappointing. While placing my order through the drive through, the gentleman taking the order came across as rushed and visibly frustrated. His tone and attitude were clearly conveyed through the speaker and set a negative tone for the interaction.
When we pulled forward to receive our order, the drinks were handed to us without any labels. I asked the employee handing out the drinks which one was the diet option. She did not speak English and referred me back to the gentleman who had taken the order. His response was brief, dismissive, and clearly irritated, stating that I would need to look and determine which drink was darker.
This level of communication and customer service is not consistent with what I have experienced at other Cook Out locations. I am providing this feedback in hopes that it is addressed, as clear communication and a respectful attitude are essential to a positive customer experience.

Somehow hadn’t known about this place before today but ohhh goodness that was such a delicious lunch! Thank you! Picking what to order from the menu was the hardest part because it all sounds so so good!! Finally decided on the double burger with cheese and a small bunch of toppings, as well as the onion rings and hush puppies. My husband got similar items but with french fries and everything was just perfect! Thank you again! We’re not from the area but I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more!
