Went in for dinner for the first time. We have two kids and are always on a budget. This place has plate deals that are seriously economical. The sides are very hearty. Not just fries and onion rings although those are both pretty good. I had a double burger with onion rings and chicken nuggets. The burger is flame cooked which I don’t like but it was still good. Plus the name is Cookout, that’s what they do. The rings were seriously good and crunchy. The nuggets were nothing special but very edible. Daughters had quesadillas and loved them. It’s always nice to not fight them to eat. My fiancée enjoyed her burger as well. The food isn’t the best but the price and quantity is outstanding for a struggling family that want’s to go out once in a while. Four people ate for $25.00 and were full and satisfied. All the prices are very reasonable here. Next time I’m going to get a chili dog and a shake. They have a ton of different shakes. If your on a budget and want a decent fast food meal this is your spot. We will definitely be back to try some other things.

1st time they messed my order up, 2nd time I didn’t even get what I ordered. Don’t think I’ll be back. They used to have great service and always got the order right. You can see in the picture no hushpuppies and a few chicken nuggets and a wad of onion rings .

From the jump, I’m gonna say that cookout near my Old location, which was in Sevier county and I’ve been to locations of pigeon Forge and Morristown, which both of these locations never gave me a problem, I never got sick. I never had a screwed up order, I always got what I ordered. But every time I go to this location, I live here in Maryville now. They complained to me or should I say they gave me attitude, when I wanted the original North Carolina version of the pulled pork sandwich, which that is just the vinegar based barbecue. One time I asked them that I just wanted a small amount of hot sauce on it, It was literally coated in it, I couldn’t taste anything except for the hot sauce. But if I asked this for a pulled pork barbecue, they have no problem at all. I’m not sure why, but I guess the original version is no good for them. Cookout is known for their very thick shakes, well this location has given me shakes that were so thin that they were thinner than any McDonald’s shake. Two nights ago was the last straw, I ordered two chili dogs, first one tasted good and no issues. The second one tasted weird and I blamed it on my taste buds, but now I know what to blame it on, when I left there and I went to the grocery store. I could only do half my shop. I felt horrible. I had to get myself in the car as quick as I could to get back home. That’s where I start throwing up- projectile throwing up as soon as I got out of the car.. I posted this to warn others. If you decide to go to this location, I wish you the best of luck. But this location will never see my business again.

I came in when Amy was training a new person and I was so happy with the experience. She made sure all orders were correct and was so nice to both the staff and the customers!! Made my day even a bit better. Keep up the good work Amy!

Huge shoutout to the crew working today! While everywhere else is boarded up for the snow, these guys are here making sure we’re fed. The food was hot, the service was fast, and the vibe was awesome despite the weather. Your hard work is massively appreciated—stay safe and stay warm!

I eat at this location regularly mostly late night due to getting off work at midnight or later. The drive thru can be very busy at these times but they are way faster than one might expect given the line be almost wrapped around the building.

Wow! Just ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and got home and its literally INEDIBLE. The chicken was so OLD and has been sitting for god knows how long you can’t even bite into it its so hard. Hard a leather. This is my first time ever trying cookout and will be my last. Its unbelievable that this would even be served. 2:45 pm is when i ordered and this chicken is at least 5-6 hours old. I think i better contact the health department on this one. I should have know this would he old and left over because from the time I ordered until i received the food was 3 minutes. In 3 minutes I was handed 2 boxes and the cashier says your cards in the bag have a good day. Since when did places put your debit cards in the bags with your food? I ordered a regular cheeseburger, nuggets and cajun fries and a chicken sandwich with cheddar bites and cajun fries and the entire meal was cooked hours prior. Burger and chicken are both JERKY, cold floppy fries and hard as a rock cheddar bites with unmelted cheese.

I ordered a Cookout tray with a burger, hush puppies, and onion rings, on a very busy New Year’s Eve, and want to give credit where credit is due. Amazing food and service at the window. Will definitely be back! Way to be! Maryville team!

The food is DELICIOUS!! Out of all the “fast food” places, I will go out of my way to go to cook out. The burgers are delicious and taste like home cooked. The sides are good as well. This location is the closest to my home and close to where my wife works, so it’s great when she and I have lunch together on her lunch break. Staffing is like every other place around they are short staffed, and sometimes it gets busy, but it’s worth the wait! Prices are definitely affordable. You get more than your money worth of food. I love cook out burgers

I’ve got cookout for about a year now from time to time haven’t had any issues until the last two times I’ve been I ordered a Quesadilla tray and a side of cheddar bites I said two Quesadillas not one but didn’t realize it until I was home there was only 1, this last time I ordered two big burger trays with a ranch chicken wrap and cheddar bites for the side and the other Cajun fries with also cheddar bites there is everything I ordered but 4/5 cheddar bites in one of the trays like you can make the fries and bites ti out plenty in one tray but 5 in the other that is straight up like diabolical like I get the rush and everything because I’ve worked fast food and different positions within fast food but if you know your gonna be busy around a certain time then why wouldn’t you make sure to have that food ready when you know it’s a popular option so it really feels like it has been done on purpose and if it happens again I guess I won’t be eating there or at least at the Maryville Cookout again I’ll go to Knoxville
