First and last visit for CookOut. Heard good things about their milkshakes so I figured I would give it a try. I try to only leave reviews when the experience is good but making an exception. No indoor seating and when you get a sloppy/messy made burger, it is nearly impossible to eat it in your car without making a mess. Got the steak burger option – bunch of grilled onions slid right out immediately (they weren’t even really on the sandwich to begin with) – that’s not cool. No pride in putting together the burger – I know it’s fast food but come on, put the ingredients under the bun. Ordered fries – got about 8 fries in the little bag and a bunch of chicken nugget like things were in the bag and I didn’t order them. Didn’t know what they were so left them alone. And the milkshake that I heard good things about – couldn’t order it because they didn’t have the ingredients. Sorry CookOut – one and done.

Listen to the other reviews. There were two lanes of ordered cars that eventually all dispersed because the wait was so long 20+ minutes. Nothing was said when taken the order or even waiting. Management definitely needs to step in and reorganize the business….Ive never been to such a location.

No dining area you can either go through drive thru or walk up to a window. I walked up to the window the employee was not very friendly and looked annoyed. As I was eating in my car I noticed several people having trouble getting out of the parking lot. I will say the burger and onion rings were hot and tasted good. The shake was not that good. I will continue to go to my regular Cookout even though I do have to drive a little. I will not be returning.

I ordered my food, then sit at the window for 10 minutes before anyone came to greet me. They tried to hand me a milkshake I didn’t order. Then I almost paid for a order that wasn’t mine. After all this and retaking my order 3 times, I waited another 15 minutes until my order came to the window with the lids not latched and without bags. Terrible visit in all. I’m not a frequent customer even though I’m in the area all the time and it will be hard to return after this visit.

Waited in the rain for over 40 minutes for my food. In the drive through. It’s totally unacceptable to be waiting that long in a drive through. It would have been faster to go to a sit down restaurant. I would have been able to order and finish my entire meal in the time it took me to wait at the window. There was no line and they served at least 15 customers before me.

So the food is without a doubt delicious. However it’s aggravating when I order me even a double burger and the burgers are ridiculously THIN. I feel like Wendys single burgers are bigger than these doubles. I probably won’t be back. Not to mention for just like $2 more I can get a burger from Wendy’s thats bigger than 2 of Cookouts burgers. Again the taste is there, the size is embarrassing

Got lunch today and found a hair in my ranch wrap, if I had time I would have went back and have them make me another one. The Fries were horrible, and the hushpuppies were the only thing that was good. The worst fast food I have ever been to.

So disappointed! Have been to a few different cookouts over the years and has always been great. We were excited for this location to open up. We gave it a few weeks to get going and went by this evening for a milkshake and it wasn’t even edible…. I brought it home to my wife without saying how I felt to make sure I wasn’t being dramatic and she took one bite and said “oh gosh, it tastes like something is bad in here. It should not taste like this” Not flavor bad but spoiled bad. Not to mention it was barely 3/4 full when I looked at it after driving away and it was the consistency of soup. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had and worst location I’ve been to. Took three bites between the two of us and trashed it. Staff was friendly and quick which is nice but doesn’t mean much if you have to trash the food.

Had to repeat my order several times then the guy taking my order repeated it several more times but still got it wrong I got a steak style burger no tomato add cheese I didn’t get my cheese and this style is supposed to have A-1 steak sauce on it but it didn’t just a piece of lettuce and a tone of half cooked onions so I got a onion burger which made the bun very soggy and tasted like crap food was served fast which means it’s already cooked setting around under a heat lamp my wife’s barely had any barbecue sauce on it and bun was very soggy and she got a Reeces peices milk shake and I was eating the chocolate in the bottom and felt something weird in my mouth and pulled out a bugs wing like a dragon fly type long hard kinda see through wing we will never eat there again period.called there main office and complained they said all they can do is replace the order my wife told no way they can keep we will not eat anything from ever again so no pass they didn’t say they will do anything about it or look into it or anything like that.they need to have better quality control not we will replace nasty food for nasty food and as bad as it was imagine what they would do to your food if you complained and they where replacing it.this was the one in Lenoir City the one in Maryville is always good.
