The food was good even the fries and I’m not a fries person! The customer service was good. They were friendly, the food came out quickly and was hot. The ambiance is your typical take out burger joint. There were a group of drunken folks that were loud and using profanity. It was 1 am on a Tuesday and they were far from college age.
Otherwise, I would ABSOLUTELY go back! That hot food hit the spot! If ever in the area, please give this place a try.

Cook out is my favorite fast food ever. We flew from Colorado and I had to have it. Still best food ever. Prices are super low, soda is super crisp. I miss it already.

Stopped here on our first night in Nashville as it was on our way to our hotel. Super cheap which was great but completely bland almost had no flavor. The sandwiches were just drowning in sauce as well I guess it’s worth it for what you pay but not something I’d be interested in having again.

Cook Out actually tastes like fresh burgers right off the grill. When I was taking the first few bites I was tasting and smelling that freshly grilled taste along with the meat. Their toppings were also really fresh and I just had cheese, lettuce, pickles, tomatos, and mustard. It was an all around really good cheeseburger. The prices and deals are really good too. It was around $7 that came with the burger, two sides, and a drink. It was more than I could eat at the price. I definitely will go back.

I’ve gone to this location and only this location a lot over the past years I’ve worked a few blocks away. Usually go through the drive thru. The last three times I’ve gone, I’m charged for large fries even though i asked for regular (aka small) and was given small. First time, i thought they raised their prices, second time actually looked at my receipt and it said i was charge for large fries (again even though i asked for regular and was given regular. Took a pic of that then called customer service and they helped me with some voucher or whatever. I went a third time, but went inside this time. The man charged me for large fries even though i was directly in front of him and said regular fries (cause that’s what their small is called).
Anyway, i told him to refund me. That i have been coming to this location for a couple years now and this issue has been happening to me three times in a row the last three times I have been here. Even though it never has the countless other times I’ve gone. He didn’t care that i am a customer and that i told him I’ve been coming here for a couple years. He said that he has been working there for seven years and they have only ever served large fries…i pointed at the menu behind him and said you have regular fries right there. He said I have to ask for small fries. I told him they aren’t called small fries. They’re called regular fries lol. And after he told me he has worked there for seven years, i happily told him that it’s nice that they can’t get my order of fries right the last three times I’ve been here and yet have the countless other times I’ve ordered. Anyway, then he didn’t refund my card, he instead gave me change from the cash register back.
Just really weird. Once my voucher arrives, I’ll have to come back once more to use it, but def won’t be using it for fries cause clearly regular fries means large or whatever scam they’re trying to pull and then they give you regular sized fries anyway. Like idk if it’s some scam to cheat people out of money. But i legit had to waste my breath telling someone who apparently worked there for seven years that I’m being fraudulently charged three times in a row for fries I didn’t ask for and didn’t get anyway lol cause they kept giving me the regular sized fries which is in no way their large…anyway glad I don’t have to deal with this anymore cause I don’t want to ever go back even with the voucher. I guess I’ll go to a rando location in the suburbs to use the voucher.

I’ve never dined-in at a Cook Out before, but it was definitely an experience. Clean, thriving and quick! Exactly how it should be. Food was delicious, service was fast, and the location was excellent near neighboring hotels and local bars. If you need a break from Nashville’s expensive menus, this is your place!

I really hate to give a 1 star rating because I really love cookout. My problem comes fr9m whoever was running the drive through mic. The line was empty and I admittedly didn’t feel like driving all the way around the building just to get on the right side of the cones in your drive through. So I pulled up just past them and then backed up to the speaker to place my order. Whoever was on the mic decided today was the day to go on a power trip and tell me I needed to drive all the way around the building before she would take my order. Look I get it… if it had been busy or if I had done it to cut in front of someone, absolutely enforce that and put me in my place. I wouldn’t have done it anyways if those had been the conditions, but it wasn’t. She could have easily asked me to drive around the next time I came and I would have been really cool about it. Instead she lost your store 2 sales today. I know that’s nothing compared to how many sales you probably do every day but still. Im never one to come on here and post something like this but it really set me off today and struck the wrong nerve with me.
