Portion sizes are small.
And quality of food, portion sizing of the food is not worth the prices.
They’ve gotten our order wrong on numerous occasions also and we got chocolate shakes that were pitiful.
Not really any chocolate in them.
Also as Christians one of the things we loved most was they seemed patriotic and also had scripture verse on there cups and other things.
They’ve done away with that from what iv seen so far at the Dickson location.
And they don’t do military discount anymore.
I don’t think we will be going back.
Talk about good service. 0/10 would not recommend. Food was great though.
Pros –
1. The drive-thru line speed was reasonable for it’s length and the staff interactions were friendly enough.
2. My order was correct on the receipt
Cons –
The food was below average for quality & quantity vs. price.
Rating Explanation –
2 Stars ONLY because the employees were nice and fast enough, as well as seeming competent for what they have to work with. I would rate 1 Star if 0 Stars was an option. The only stars I can give is due to the service, not the food. The service was actually kind of surprising considering the service at most fast food chains is atrocious lately (super slow, orders are horribly incorrect and/or the employees are unpleasant to interact with).
Full Story –
I decided to give them another shot tonight, I haven’t been there since a very underwhelming experience right after they opened and figured I’d try it again since there always seems to be a line in the drive-thru (I do NOT understand why there is always a line). After this experience, nothing has changed since the first time and I won’t be going back for a third.
I ordered a “Big Double” with bacon, lettuce, tomato and pickle with a large fries. The total came to $8.15.
The so-called “Big Double” has patties which are barely larger in area than a Krystal burger patty (if I had scales I would have weighed them) and very close to the same thickness of a Krystal burger patty but were EXTREMELY dry. After I got home, while I was adding cheese (I don’t like Cheddar cheese, I added my own American cheese.), I was so utterly underwhelmed in the value I had received, I had to take pictures of it. It also had considerable area which was nothing but bun (I tore off the parts of the bun which had nothing between top and bottom of bun).
After showing it to a family member, I was compelled to submit the pictures with a review in case anyone looks to the reviews hoping to ascertain what type value they will receive at this establishment.
Side notes : My apologies to the Cook Out employees, I don’t know if this will have any impact on your work, but this was kind of awful. I also removed the cashier’s name from the receipt, it’s irrelevant information since the order appeared to be correct and I’m not looking to denigrate employees for the quality / value received at the establishment, the issue is outside of their purview of responsibility.
I included a Bicentennial quarter in the disassembled picture for reference of scale.
