Yahweh’s Daughter
Detailed and honest review:
First time ever trying “Cook Out Restaurant” burger was on point, too much mustard however. Fries were cold when I got home and tasted like they were not fresh, they had no salt on them. No one asked what sauces we needed. When I pulled my cup out of the drink carrier it busted all over my clothes and soaked my clothes and floor board, had to get out of my car in 40° weather and take off my soaked socks and stand on the pavement barefoot. Also had to remove my bottom half clothes and sit naked on the way home. (Was preparing to eat in my car when this happened) had to go back in to receive a new cup with new drink and the lady behind the counter says to someone in the back “can we give them new cups?”
I filled my drink with unsweetened tea (said unsweetened tea on the canister) when I arrive home the tea was not unsweetened it WAS SWEET so the canister was labeled wrong. I wanted our first experience here to be good and the burger was a solid 5 but my drink experience was not.
It is what it is. I will be back for burgers.
Overall burger had great flavor. Enjoy your cookout!

After a few months of regularly visiting the drive thru at cookout I find that while the flavor of the food is generally on point and at times delicious. Unfortunately it can be hit or miss. The first few weeks the service and quality of food was spectacular!! It has since fallen a bit. Multiple times i have ordered the the cookout tray with the double bacon cheese burger and two sides of Cajun fries with extra extra seasoning. Several times now i have received a double hamburger with no bacon or cheese, even more common the fries come with very little seasoning like almost none. Its very disappointing especially on account of i have a habit of not checking the food until o return home or to work. Then today i encounter the same problem and a patty that is honestly a half patty. I only pray it improves because i love the flavor and the price point not to mention they are usually very very friendly and more often than not very efficient with smooth run times.

The food was good, fresh and had the home cooked feel. The staff was friendly, helpful and patient (it was our first time and kids couldn’t make up their minds). The best thing in my opinion is the shakes. They are super thick so you get them to go and they will still be good by the time you get home. Not to mention delicious . I was a little sad they had an eggnog shake but it’s not available until December. The strawberry cheesecake one I got was

The quesadilla was paper-thin and the claim that it was chicken and cheese was a vast over-exaggeration. Maybe they sprinkle ramen chicken flavor in there. Who knows. It didn’t taste horrible but it was mostly shell. The four onion rings were decent. The burger was good. I think for the cheap prices it’s good for a quick meal for a good price, just don’t expect anything extravagant or rememberable.

Went here for lunch. We ordered to go. It was busy but they were efficient. We ordered for four people and each got trays. The food was good for the price. It was about $8 per person. Definitely will be back again

We had the cheddar style burgers, fries, onion rings, tenders, chocolate and chocolate chip mint shakes. Everything was good except the tenders, too hard and not much flavor to them. Wait time in the drive thru was only about 15 mins which was impressive considering the lines were to the road. Service was friendly

The food was decent, but it didn’t reach my full expectations. Service was great, they got four orders done in less than two minutes. With fast service inside and the drive through supposedly being faster it should only take a second of a drive-thru order. lol.

Cook out is amazing! Not only is the food fantastic but the prices are great also. The atmosphere is really enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this is a Christian based company. You walk in and don’t hear the secular music but wonderful praise and worship! It is so nice to have another Christian based restaurant here!! You won’t be disappointed!!

The cashier was very kind and gave us a sweet compliment upon arrival. The food came out fairly quickly. They forgot our chicken tenders so we ended up having to go back up to the counter. The inside was decently cleaned. Encountered other sweet customers. I ordered and received a bacon ranch wrap and fries. The wrap was okay, the inside ingredients needed a better order(needed to be more well blended). My family enjoyed what they had very much. We would definitely come back.

I wish I could give them a better review. The food was absolutely disgusting, I can’t even justify it even with the cheap prices. I had a grilled BBQ chicken sandwich with cajun fries and I forgot the other side I had. Everything tasted like it was cooked in rotten spoiled oil. The sweet tea was good but so so sweet, I had 2 full cups.
The chicken was beyond dry and the BBQ sauce they used on it was nasty, they also added pickles and mayo. My husband got a burger and 2 sides and he said it was gross. I wanted to like this place. They had Christian music playing, they had scripture on their cups. I gave them a 5 star for the atmosphere because of the music and the fact they are spreading the gospel!
I will try and give them another chance and to see if their quesadillas are any good. I will update whenever we go back.
