We did drive thru so can’t tell you much about the atmosphere but I will say the price was phenomenal. We had bbq, cheese curds, onion rings, fries and sweet teas for $17. It would have been twice that back home in Chicago. Service was fast. Everything was delicious.

Make sure you specify you want a tray when you order. Never had an issue with getting a drink until tonight and they asked did you specifically order a tray I said yes I ordered a sweet tea with my meal and they argued that you have to define what you want because not everyone wants a drink… ummm that’s the whole point of ordering a tray but ok…

Love this place; Tuscaloosa is 4400 kilometres from home and I wouldn’t travel that far for any meal, but whenever I’m there I’ve got to stop at Cook Out a couple of times. The burgers – I’ve ordered both beef and chicken on separate occasions- always hit the spot. Fries are not too salty and nice and crispy (not overly so), and the shakes! Just perfect for a humid Alabama day (or night)! And it’s affordable, & staff have always been friendly and easy going. Then there’s those ducks…

I have not been comfortable eating at this restaurant for at least the past 3 years .
Each time I go inside I have to avoid stepping in duck do-do inside the restaurant as well as on the patio.
But the ducks were there first so I step around!
However it’s the food that is alarming. Each visit it’s always the same . UNDERCOOKED meat. Cold and tasteless .
This last time I took the food back and asked for refund.
Will never go back! Unless I want an e-coli poisoning.

Cindy the “manager” may have provided the worst service I’ve ever received, she was rude during the whole process of ordering and handing out orders. It took almost 35 mins to get a Tray and 2 milkshakes. Once I finally got my milkshakes they were completely melted and the manager refused to remake them when I pointed out they were melted!!

I been trying to get here for weeks mostly to check out all the items they have . I can say I’m disappointed with the food not what I aquire. The place is huge and is very messy inside . I came in and a customer was leaving instructing one of the workers that the table needs cleaning and I agree it could be more tiytie.. the milk shake is good .. haven’t tried burger yet so ..
