Usually I love this place. But recently the quality has been poor. Tonight my husband took me out for a shake date and the milkshakes tasted like they had been made with expired milk. Completely un-drinkable. I really hope whatever has happened gets fixed so I can enjoy it all again.

If i could give a -5 for service I would! This was a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE experience. The girl in the window had a HUGE attitude problem (Logan) is the name shown on my ticket. She didnt get my order right AT ALL! I was missing items she told me i never order certain items. However when she took my order and i placed the first part of my order she asked me if there was anything else, i said yes and completed my order. When i tried to explain this to her she told me i was wrong and closed the window in my face. Im also pretty sure she charged me TWICE for the order i had to place again! Then on the way home HALF OF MY DRINK was in the cup holder because there was a hole in it! Plus my food was cold. I am absolutely disgusted with how i was treated and the customer service here!!!! I would not recommend this cookout!

All 3 milkshakes were watery! 1order of fries were burnt and Luke warm asked for fresher ones and the 2ones were what I received! The last 3 times our food has either not been right or cold! I don’t know who is managing but it’s a shame to have to pay for product like this! I can say we won’t be back!

The food is what you’d expect from a fast food restaurant. However, their shakes are better than most. We’ve always encountered friendly staff and never had a long wait. Cook Out is located on the right hand side as you are going toward the Atlantic beach bridge and is right before Taco Bell and Cox restaurant which are the last restaurants on the right side before getting to the bridge.

No indoor dining or picnic area. Very good service and the food was great. We got the BBQ platter. The meat looked very plain, but had an excellent taste; the hush puppies were excellent; fries good; and cole slaw pretty plain tasting.

This cookout in Morehead is one of the worst cookouts I’ve went to. The staff (Managers) are very RUDE. They need to go back to basic training and relearn how to treat and accommodate there customers. I loveeeeee the store in Jacksonville. Food is always fresh regardless eve if they are busy, also the food always looks APPEALING. This one the food is always cold and looks like something you would get from whataburger. I’m so sorry but that’s the truth., if you want a good meal!!

Staff is usually nice but the food is horrible for cookout. The last few times I have gone the burgers were burned and very sloppily thrown together. Tops were burned crispy; the last two times we went. It was just a mess when I opened it up needing napkins to clean it off. Fries were very cold& soggy. Almost 20.00 for a fast food meal; I am done. I am done with this location. It does not represent the Cookout brand well. Save your money; go to another location.

Ordered a meal … handed us one bag and then took it back saying they got the wrong one, just to leave and realize they gave us the wrong food completely because they were too busy chatting away about their lunch break even after confirming what we had gotten. Frustrating.
