Got the wrong food through the drive through, went inside to get it fixed. Had to be asked 4+ times what was wrong and re-explain it multiple times, no one would look at the ticket when it said it right there what was wrong. If you just look at the ticket, then look at the food, its pretty obvious.
The “manager” or acting manager I assume, then questioned me again “is it not right?? I’m pretty sure this is the right thing.” JUST LOOK.
I had to then open up the bags, point out to him the obvious both with food AND the ticket he was holding in his damn hand, open up the entire sandwhich JUST so that they could say, “Oh yeah that’s not right.” when it was clear as day. I don’t get why it was so hard to just understand I got the wrong order and that it needed to be remade, but wait it wasn’t!
I made the mistake of letting them take back the food, and to wait to open my food till I got home. I ordered a chicken bbq sandwhich, got a regular chicken one with the wrong order. Pretty sure they reused the same sandwhich because I could hear them talking about it in the back and upon opening the sandwhich, it still had the mayo on it which I didnt ask for, and the only difference was the tiniest bit of bbq they put on there. I asked for Cajun fries, got two orders of regular. They sprinkled the tiniest bit of Cajun on them.
This place SUCKS if you don’t get the right crew on shift.

This spot is a solid go-to, especially if you’re on a budget or a college student looking for good food without breaking the bank. The burgers are legit—super tasty and definitely worth it. But don’t sleep on the rest of the menu! Their seafood, chicken sandwiches, cheese curds, and fried okra are all on point.
And the shakes? Over 40 flavors to choose from—you can mix and match, which is dangerous in the best way. I love swinging by late at night since they stay open late. It’s got that comfort food vibe with tons of variety. Always hits the spot. STAY AWAY FROM THE PULLED PORK!

Be aware if you frequent this place, I recommend going during the day time, night time crew is not it.
The one right down the road next to it is a million times better anyway, only one where I haven’t had a bad experience at,, only downside is the lack of tacos.

This was my second time coming here. If it would have been like my first time then my rating would have been higher than 3 stars. It started off with good service until Erin who it says took my order she was handing me my food which was more than one tray without a bag. Then when I mentioned the bag she gave me the bag instead of still trying to put the food inside. She also gave multiple drinks without offering a cup holder. She was more focused on the line behind me than taking one customer at a time and trying to give the proper service to each person.

I went to CookOut and ordered a few things. Two of them being a beef quesadilla and a chicken quesadilla with jalapeños on both. They gave us a beef quesadilla with only enough beef for the first two bites. and a chicken quesadilla with no chicken. I went back to ask for a remake with the actual meet i paid for and they gave me the same thing but opposite. I know cookouts aren’t ment for high expectations but when you order something you should expect to get what you ordered. I am genuinely curious if they made those as a joke or if they do not know what they are doing.
When i asked for a remake they remade it no questions but clearly they do not care about what they give you and it shows in the food they give out.
I blame the fact that fast food places don’t pay their employees enough to care. I don’t know about this specific location but it makes a huge difference.

Great quick bite. Flavorful food to your picking. Easy to find something yummy. Pick your meal and make it to your flavor. Spicy, original, different options.
Grab a milk shake that is very creamy to top it off.
Loved the fried cheese and hush puppies. Coleslaw was perfect, not too saucy.

My nephew loves this place, I will now question all of his life choices moving forward. Fries ok, burger is half filler. Maybe the shakes are good, but it looked like DQ.. so plastic.

This cookout was clean and had indoor dinning. The staff was friendly even though it was during a busy time. Bathrooms were also clean. Everything was fully stocked. Overall a wonderful experience.

Fairly good experience at this location, but some improvements could be made. Customer service was ok, cashier seemed less than excited to be there…our food was ready in good time, but was not accurate. I wanted my burger without cheese, but it had cheese. Other than that my burger was great and I LOVED the massive tomato slice! I would have asked to fix it, but they were super busy and I didn’t want to wait . My son’s burger was done right, but his corn dog looked as though it survived a nuclear blast. Also several parts of the ceiling were leaking water unto the tables…I guess from the air conditioning system.

I have come to this cookout many times over the past few years and me and my friend had an absolutely terrible experience last night. I have never had issues with service or workers being rude but this was not the case last night. We had a cashier by the name of Janiya who was working with another girl behind the register. They asked what we ordered about 5 times, and tried giving me a refund for my own food some reason because of their lack in communication skills. Once we addressed they hadn’t given us half of our food they were extremely rude and telling us we were wrong. The kitchen had our food ready so clearly we had ordered everything we were asking for. This is concerning for management as we both have never had an experience with workers like this at any NC location.
