After going to a Cookout off of College Road, 715 College R, I was greeted by a disrespectful worker. I wasn’t speaking loudly at the box, and I think because of that, the worker became agitated. Sadly, he escalated the incident and raised his voice, yelling at my friends and I, “To Just Order.” Once we all completed our orders, we drove up to the window. The worker was rude at the window as well, but he handed over our food and drinks. We drove off, but then I found a large chunk of grey, seemingly pubic hair ( because of its coarse and curly pattern) in my milkshake. I turned on my flashlight and saw several chunks of hair. What was most disturbing was that there were different textures of hair: black, brown, straight, and curly. I’ve been eating at Cookout for years, and have never experienced something like this. I ate several bites of the milkshake before realizing, which is a legitimate health issue. I don’t want to make a big deal out of this, but I would like the people who did this to be held responsible.

Food has always been correct but the new workers there were super rude. A young lady after I asked her to remove the extra drink she added bc my boyfriend had decided he didn’t want it and we could just share one from the meal she turned around and closed the window but not enough because she was talking bad about us to her coworkers and we sat there and heard all of it. Please teach ur new hires to be more nicer. It was a night shift employee and they worked 02/7/26

That’s it you lost a customer! You probably don’t care. The food was terrible, the service was Worse and the speaker gave me a headache being extremely, extremely loud. I almost stopped at the one up the street and I wish I did. There’s a reason I never go there? This reminded me.

This cookout needs new management, the only thing consistent at this location now is the cold food, this used to be the best cookout but in the past few months it has fallen off i can only assume it’s the management because why are employees pushing out cold food? I’ve never had that happen at the one in Carolina beach I also go to all the time or the one just down the road the few times I’ve been to it. Pretty saddening to see since this location was the first one in town and most of us locals love going to this specific one. I hope someone reads this and things change, much love

Ok, in fairness, it was around Midnight. Drive-thru moved efficiently but the people manning the window seemed a bit on the rude side; I get it, you are working fast food on a Friday night. It probably does suck however no need to be rude to patrons for no reason.

Went through the drive through five minutes ago and they asked multiple times to confirm what shake I wanted and put the right sticker on the shake but gave me the wrong one. Then proceeded to empty their entire seasoning cabinet onto my fries. Horrible service from lazy people.

Customer Service and food quality has really gone done hill in the last month. Shakes are not made right, orders are wrong. There see to be a lot of college kids after midnight, now it’s empty.

The food was passable at best, but the portions were tiny. The real issue was the customer service. I came in about 45 minutes ago, and the employee on duty was shockingly rude and condescending. I genuinely regret spending money here. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

I ordered a jr cheeseburger and corn dog, fries. The burger and bun was cold and apparently sitting for while. The jr burger is thin patty and not only was cold but was pink on inside. Last time coming to this cookout.
