Their BBQ sandwich is to die for! Comes with coleslaw ontop of the sandwich. Their cook out tray comes with 2 sides as well, and they allow you to double up on one side to make it two. Their chicken wraps are also amazing! Never disappointed when I eat there. This is by far my most favorite restaurant so far in North Carolina.

11/23/2025, I ordered two hotdogs all the way and explain I wanted chillie onion mustard ketchup and one with coleslaw all the way the teller stated that they come all the way with coleslaw, When I got home neither one was correct one with no chillie no mustard and a ton of onions to cover up the fact it didn’t have chillie or mustard the one with coleslaw was missing the same no chillie or mustard or ketchup. I also order a large onion ring I only got three onion rings one medium size and a half of one and a very small one. I should of went to CooOut in REAFORD their service is top notch and they don’t cheat the customers through the drive through you want have to worry about me visiting this cookout every again. I will let everyone know of your location and shortcuts to the customer

Check you food before you drive off! Order – double burger with cheeses and bacon, everything on it. And tray nuggets and quesadillas. What we got – single burger with NOT everything. And quesadillas and NO nuggets. The only thing they got completely was the drinks. We got charged for what we ordered. Not happy.

Cookout is a hit or miss. I never get my honey mustard sauce for the nuggets and the fries are either soggy and stale or delicious.
My last experience was particularly memorable.
We pull up to and attempt to order to be told “If you have two orders pull around to the other side cause I’m working this all by myself”. We end up ordering and this guy was surprisingly rude and disrespectful that I was genuinely scary to ask for anything. It wasn’t like oh he’s a rude worker he won’t give us our sauce… The way he demeaned and spoke to me had convinced he would actually reach in and put his hands on me at the window. He was rude, misogynistic and I reacted to the situation with comedy to ease the tension. He seemed like he didn’t want to be there and I was genuinely scared to ask for sauces or anything I ordered due to standoffish behavior.

If I could rate this place a zero I would.y husband and daughter went thru the drive thru and they didn’t put her meal in the bag not once but twice. Then when they got home the 2 chicken Quesadillas I ordered looked like this picture and the fries had nuggets in them which I didn’t order. My banana split milk shake was not banana. It was strawberry. I’m never going back to this place and I’m beyond disappointed. I tried to call but of course there was no answer so I decided to post my experience. It’s raining outside and no one should have to pay money to get served like this.

They definitely don’t make em like they used to. Wait times ridiculous. Y’all close/stop serving at 3, why in the world are y’all closing down stuff at 12:30am? Y’all so busy trying to close…customer service, quality and attention to detail down the drain! Y’all know Jeremy would not like that. Also walk up is never supposed to wait. Again y’all so busy trying to close at 1230/1, y’all had me up there about 5-10 minutes (before I even ordered) just looking at what y’all doing. Pouring buckets of water on/over the fry station cooler ♂️ ♂️ good way to get shocked. Y’all know better. Do better.
Now we get to the food: why in the heck would you charge customers for tomatoes, but put half a tomato slice? Are you only half charging me? Here’s a suggestion…how about you prep more tomatoes, because yanno… You’re still open for at least 2 more hours, not to mention you charged the customer for a whole tomato. And bacon was borderline still oinking!!! How you messing up bacon when the process is easy.
