My 2 chicken quesadillas had probably 4 pieces of chicken all together, my boyfriend’s “double” burger looked like it was for a 5 year old. It had half a burger and a tiny patty. My mothers was the only correct order and we will not be coming back. The wait isn’t worth it.

I just went to the drive thru at Cookout. I got my order and everything was right, yet the 2 sweet teas that I got were unsweet. I proceed to go back and ask for 2 sweet teas and was polite about it. The person at the window yanked my 2 teas out of my hands and then handed me new drinks. I have never been so disrespected at Cookout in Shelby.
Not to mention, I wasn’t the only one complaining about the tea being unsweet.

Oh my, let me tell you about this CookOut in Shelby, NC. First off, I asked for a grilled chicken sandwich, club style ( which is a choice from the menu), the worker did not have a clue what I was talking about, so I added everything individually. Next, my order was still wrong because I didn’t receive extra pickles, then after the bun finished crumbling up, I took it off to bite the meat and it was Spoiled. A foul order came from the sandwich smh I bit it and it tasted spoiled too. I was on my break. I contacted the store and someone called me back. I described my issue and he asked “WHAT!” SO I said YES my meat was spoiled and that jack leg hung up on me and never answered again. So I called the Health department and is now awaiting their call, I guess the snow storm held them up, but trust me I will be calling tomorrow.

☠️☠️I went thru the drive thru. It took over 30 mins. I got the correct drink, but that was it. By the time I opened the containers and realized both plates of food were wrong, I was too far away to turn around and had a tight schedule already. To whomever got my order, I hope you enjoyed. They have no idea how to give appropriate sides in their trays. How do they consider 4 onion rings and 3 cheese bites a side. My grandkids eat more than that and they are only 4 years old. This place is a joke. 99% of the staff is rude as hell. Will never go to this cookout again. The one in Kings Mountain is so much better.

I haven’t had a hot dog in years bc they use to wrap it in foil which caused it to be soggy & sloppy.
But I ordered one last night & it was good & fresh. I like that its in a styrofoam container.
Since I last rated this place & have tried their hotdogs twice since then, its been TERRIBLE!! Chili old & cold. It looked as nasty as it tasted. Very disappointed!!

Unfriendly and unhelpful service. Food was mid at best. Ordered a small burger and Cajun fries and received regular fries. Burger was as thick as a hockey puck and equally as tough. I had severe indigestion the entire evening. This goes on my “Avoid” list.

Small cheeseburger isn’t suppose to look this this. They kept messing up my order which wasn’t to complicated. First and last time at this location. Tried to call but of course line was busy. Shitty service! And I never complain about food but wow blew my mind.
