Bought a tray with, burger, quesadilla, and hush puppy’s with a banana strawberry milkshake.
The only thing that was edible was the hush puppy’s and milkshake. My dogs wouldn’t even eat the burger and quesadilla.

I came through on 12/07/24 at about 10:15pm. I ordered 2 chicken quesadillas, okra, and onion rings. Got home and found there was no chicken in the quesadillas and only a trace amount of cheese. This is unacceptable and extremely disappointing. If your establishment is going be open late and offer a full menu; your staff should be ready and menu items should be ready to serve. I thought Cookout had higher standards. Not sure if I’ll be back.

If I could rate the service it would be a zero very unprofessional and unpleasant cashier. She forgot my walk-in taco but when we went around to get it she snatched the receipt from my husband I’ll stick with the McDowell cookout from now on.

Horrible experience. Waited at the window for 7 minutes plus for someone to even acknowledge I was at the window. The manager was very rude and astute, asking if I was the one knocking on the window? Of course I was! It’s 17 degrees out!!! I will not be returning and highly encourage anyone else to take their business elsewhere!

I’ve gone to the front multiple different times the staff will ignore you and get the drive through even after they’ve taken your order. On multiple occasions they put my toppings on only half of the burger too.

The food was cold. Not sure if it would have been better warm but it wasn’t good. It was mine and my brothers first time going to Cook Out and he was excited. I wasn’t so sure since I had heard mixed reviews from locals but went ahead anyway. The girl who took our order barely said one word and after waiting longer than we expected we received cold food with a side of attitude. I don’t know if they’re all like this but i won’t bother trying again. Waste of money

We ordered three sandwiches and 1 order of fries and 2 orders of onions rings through the drive-thru. Two of the sandwiches were wrong after repeating our order three times. We requested they repeat the order back to us so that we can verify that they had it correct. They still got two of the three sandwiches wrong.

I just found out about cookout a couple weeks ago. Unbelievably good food for the price especially. The only time I was liminally disappointed was when I didn’t have as much Cajun seasoning on my fries as I wanted. They better keep paying their Cooks, this Hometown knows how to make them LOL
