I have been coming to this location several times since moving to the area. Typically have no issues with the food or service. I ordered through the drive-thru not too long ago on my way home from work and got a tray with a huge sweet tea. It’s pretty hot outside and I was thirsty, so I decided to start drinking my beverage. Once I got home I opened the lid of my drink to add lemon and found a dead fly floating on top. I’m sorry, but have to say this completely grossed me out, so I had to dump the whole thing. I had been drinking from this!! Not sure how this even happened if the drink is poured & then immediately covered, but I was not pleased.

They literally took my card, didn’t give me my food, didn’t give me my card back, and tried to gaslight me into thinking I never gave them my card. I definitely did, they handed me a milkshake when I handed it off. Gave me attitude when I was understandably upset. I had to call the police and file a police report. Now I have a huge ordeal I have to go through because at best the staff is not even remotely competent and at worst they’re literal thieves.

The cost of the food versus the quality and value is upside down. The sides cost as much as the entrees unless you get the tray and then things get laughable. You’ll get a burger slightly bigger than a slider that will double in cost unless you get it plain, 10-15 fries and if you get 2 sides, 3 onion rings or 4 cheese bites or 5 terrible hush puppies & then you have to sit in a line of local zombies that wraps around the building that you’ll sit in for 45 minutes. Cook out was a good value when they first showed up but now they got greedy with the cost and the food.

The next time I get a milkshake and they correctly get me the one I ordered, will be the first one they’ve got right in 3 trips. Not only that but they charged me for a slice of cheese cake I didn’t ask for. All I ordered was two milkshakes and they both were wrong and a member of the staff is eating a piece of cheese cake on me.
