stopped in for ice cream while in town for a bike race. the ice cream was really good but everything else about the experience left a lot to be desired.
there is no candy displayed when you enter the store. everything is behind the counter and looks more like display than that anything is for sale.
no workers greeted us when we approached the counter and waited to order but instead seemingly tried their hardest to avoid eye contact while ignoring us.

The atmosphere here brings you back to the 70s. Beautiful architecture, great ice cream, very friendly staff! The stainless steel ice cream bowls completes the theme. This place is definitely worth the drive, highly recommend stopping here!!

Got an ice cream sundae and their prices aren’t bad. They are really close to Montville on prices. Their presentation succeeds the other. I love all the topping options and the building is just down right gorgeous. In aesthetics it’s perfect and no comparison to the decor of the building.

Great ice cream. A staple in the area.
I don’t do much dairy so i had “the fruit cup” with their raspberry sorbet. I would love to see them add a dairy free vanilla but the sorbet option is already a good option.

Absolutely love this ice cream shop! The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are super friendly, and the ice cream is fantastic.
Portions are generous, prices are fair, and everything is spotless and well-maintained. You can tell they take pride in what they do.
Highly recommend this spot as a highlight of Ionia.

Get off the highway! Take a detour! Make a special trip! You don’t want to miss this gem of an ice cream parlor. You walk into to this historic building and you feel transported decades earlier to an ice cream parlor. Have an ice cream float or a sundae at the soda counter, or take the whole family into the main seating area. You will not regret a visit to Cook & Co Creamery. $20 can get ice creams for a family of 5!
I wish these ladies would have open their shop in my town.

Cook’s are our neighbors just two doors down. I go there quite often and LOVE everything about this place! The ice cream and cookies are to die for. The look of the building and the atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door really makes you feel like you’re walking into an old ice cream parlor/candy store. These girls are nailing it! Highly recommend if you haven’t been!
