Convention Grill was fantastic!! Burger was awesome, my daughter really liked her grill chicken breast as well. The French fries a super good! We had two malts and they were fantastic. All in all it is great food in a fun setting with great service.

Here’s the deal with the Convention Grill: after 15 years of eating here I’m still coming back for a Cali cheese with fried onions and THOSE FRIES which are unquestionably some of the best in town. Full stop. The fries. Let’s go. The double decker is also amazing, though for real it probably takes a couple years off your life every time you eat one. I enjoy the atmosphere though be ready for it because it can be loud and boisterous if it’s busy. Kids love the place, grandparents love the place. Super safe choice to keep everyone happy.

One of the places you need to go if you are not from here, along with lions tap. Killer fries, burgers, and malts. Don’t underestimate their chicken soup, it’s amazing. Hot fudge is fantastic.

Wow! Amazing food! Service was great too. We had malts, burger, *side order of* fries, and an egg salad sandwich.

Very good food. Nostalgic type of place. It is an old school ice cream style family owned parlor. Think Happy Days. Pricing is commensurate with the area. Wait staff wearing nice outfits. First class diner. Burger, fries, and pop. Runs $16 as a reference.

Amazing food and one of my favorite places to chill in Edina. It’s got that old-timey nostalgic atmosphere, nice and cozy. Top notch burgers and melts, with crispy, hand-cut fries and creamy shakes. Service is always great and the food comes out hot and fast

Terrific fries but overall, nothing special. However, lots of folks love it. Some off street parking. Lots more on the street.

Oh my are these burgers good. If you’re looking for a good burger, look no further than here. Their burgers are super thick, moist and juicy and absolutely delicious. Their malts are great too! It’s also pretty historic. It’s been there since 1934 and has been a location filmed in some movies, or so I heard.

Everything is perfection at the right price. Get a malted, and you’ll probably want to split it, but theirs are the best old-fashioned kind. Get an order of fries (to share, they’re huge) and one of their amazing burgers. Their chicken soup is also very good. My family has been coming here almost my whole life. But they have been here for much much longer than that.
