This is my new favorite! The owner is very friendly and knows his stuff for sure! Everything is made from scratch and was so delicious that after I finished eating, I called to tell him how amazing the food was!
I had the chop pork and it was juicy and delicious with just the right amount of crisp around the edges. The yams were delicious and sweet, the macaroni and cheese is and by far, the best I’ve ever had and ooohhhh…..the cabbage…….I can’t even find the words to describe how savoury the flavor is. I’ve never in all my life…..I will be back…. .time and time again! I will certainly tell everyone I know how they will be missing out if they don’t try this place. Thank you so much for this experience and many more to come!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was very clean. We had the ribs dinner with cabbage, Mac n Cheese, and corn on the cob. Oh my goodness…it was amazing! Everything was made from scratch and cooked in house, and you could tell because it tasted so fresh. The ribs were the best I have ever had! I’m so glad we found this hidden treasure in Tallassee. We will definitely be visiting on a regular basis!

This was SOOO good! The smoked chicken had a delicious smoky flavor without being too overpowering. The greens were perfect and really didn’t need anything at all. The Mac and cheese was also pretty good(and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t really like Mac n cheese). All in all this place was wonderful and I would most definitely eat here again! 10 out of 10!

I love eating here!! I visit about three times a week because the food is just that great. The tropical tea and pulled pork/yams/baked beans are my favorites. But everything is amazing from the smoked chicken to the bbq loaded potatoes! Highly recommend.

Where do I start. Yams cabbage ribs bake chicken loaded potatoe bake beans Mac and cheese. The drinks was all good. Me and Gf loved the atmosphere so we stayed in and ate. Great customer service. The Owner had food out in a timely manner and checked on us multiple times. We also drove from Montgomery to check it out. Thanks for the great food and service. We look forward to going back soon. It’s must we tell our friends and family about this place.

I would say it’s the best BBQ in the state but that would be doing it a disservice because it’s some of the best in the southeast. The owner is wonderful, the food is delicious, and the restaurant is clean. If you can, get the made from scratch banana pudding and thank me later! I could type a book and not run out of wonderful things to say about this place.

The food was first of all SOOO good, hot and delicious. The owner was friendly, even gave me some free samples to try. Everything I tasted was savory and flavorful. I recommend trying the pulled pork sandwich it’s delicious , and smoky with the edges being ever so crisp for a great bite, (add pickles:) with mac n cheese, yams, and baked beans. He makes his own bbq sauce, both so delicious— I favor the one that isn’t mustard based, but I tried a bite of each with every other mouthful. They also make a killer banana pudding. I know I’ll be going back. Give it a try you won’t regret it!!
