Wow, This place is really expensive, and the food is mostly not up to the price point.( I must say that their pizza is pretty good however).
I ordered a meatball grinder with green peppers and onions added, and a Coke.
The price for one sandwich and a drink was $31 including tax and tip.
The “meatballs” in the sandwich were more like low grade meatloaf, and apparently I paid an additional $5 simply for adding green peppers and onions to the grinder to actually give it some flavor. That add on price is not acceptable.
The grinder was edible, but worth no more than $10 maximum. (Not $25).
I ended up throwing the leftover half out in my backyard for the crows to eat, (and they were even not sure if they wanted to eat it at first….).
Restaurant prices are completely out of control, especially at Contos…..
The service was great and the atmosphere is nice, however I would rather have excellent food at a reasonable price, with bad service and bad atmosphere, as I can always get the food to go…..! Their salads are usually good but are also way overpriced…. Once I ordered a caprese salad to go, and when I got home and opened the container It only had three small pieces of wilted lettuce, soaked in balsamic vinegar with no tomatos….! It felt like I was being pranked by the restaurant or on candid canera, and I can’t even make that BS up…!!!
That alone should have told me to never go back there again, but now I know for sure that their prices are about three times more than they should be, and the food is not even close to what I can make myself in my own kitchen for around $5 a plate…! Especially any of their pasta dishes.

Abundant portions and delicious flavors! We got the Baker Ravioli with Caprese salad, as well as the Chicken Rosso with Caesar salad.

As a Snoho native & millennial, this hits all the tasty, cheesy, marinara, comfort food vibes. There is surprisingly a bit of competition in Lake Stevens for Italian-American pizza pasta joints. Suggestions from most all our family & friends, Contos is the best. Chicken Rossa, a baked pasta, a Canadian bacon pepperoni sub, pizza & their side salads hit every-time for our family to share, devour and enjoy left overs for lunch the next day. If you’re a Bothell or Lynnwood local, it is the closest to Sparta’s. If you’re from Tacoma, a waaaay cleaner Spud’s Pizza Parlor without spudder chips. It’s a great idea they have a dessert fridge at the guest stand so you can cave and grab a tasty lemon cream cake or cheesecake with raspberry sauce slice if your picking up a to go order. Thank you Contos for being awesome.

Great pasta place! We got fettuchini, salmon fettuchini, and the half and half baked pasta. Very large and sauce portions, so much that we can take some home for a second meal. Additionally they come with salad and bread for no extra cost. Elena was our server and she was very friendly, made great reccomendations, and checked on our table alot. We definitely plan on making this our go to italian restaurant. So much variety and plenty to try.

The Google info is outdated, the website doesn’t work and the prices are much higher. I ordered a fettuccine alfredo with sausage and a Ceasar salad to go. It was 35 bucks before the tip and I got a gritty no flavor pasta and a salad so full with so little dressing I can’t even do anything with it without making a giant mess without extra bowls or utensils which I dont have at the moment. I haven’t eaten all day and had high hopes but I cant even choke this down because the sauce is like glue. Worst pasta I’ve ever had.

First time. I got the roast beef sub and it was great. It is a full sandwhich, I didn’t finish. My wife got the glutten free pasta with chicken and she also liked it. Daughter got fettuccini Alfredo. Great service! Busy place! Prices are reasonable too.

It’s an old school vino vibe with a deep brown and burgundy color palette tables and chairs. But I don’t care because the pizzas, salads, cheesecakes, pasta, breads and EVER-Y-THING on the menu is OUTSTANDING. I’m also pretty sure I lived next to the owner as a child and we grew up together. They were always cooking up the best food in our hood in the 80’s. I played a lot of double dribble and did cartwheels in Spiro’s and Stacey’s front yard, plus ate snap peas when we were given the task of picking them by Debbie, their mom. Summers in that brown classic hatchback Maverick, being a passenger as Debbie drove us neighborhood kids down 85th in Redmond to play at Waverly Beach in Kirkland. But first, we stopped at 7-11 and picked up slurpees. Debbie’s Baklava was chefs kiss good as well as some type of oblong cookie with honey drizzled over them? Those were the days. I have not seen the owner to even talk about our old hood since back in the day. Is this your restaurant Spiro A.?!?!

Wonderful food. An old fashioned style restaurant that focuses on quality and service. My daughter had the barbecue chicken pizza which she said was phenomenal. I have the spinach salad and meatballs. Both were amazing. Our bill was over on the higher side because we ordered extra food, which I’m thrilled with now we have great

Was invited here by some dear friends. Ordered some of the slider sandwiches and they were awesome! These servers were very attentive throughout the entire experience, but not in an intrusive way at all. Very friendly, great atmosphere! We will be back.
