i visited on a sunday morning for a birthday breakfast date. the food was good; my meat was a little undercooked for my liking, but they took it back with no problem and cooked it longer just how i asked. the place was busy with the football game on, so we sat at the counter, but it was still a nice vibe. they had music playing, and i was enjoying myself. all the servers were pretty, kind, and genuinely good people. overall, it was a nice experience. no complaints.

Hidden gem! Took a wrong exit and ended up turning around at the gas station next door, so we decided to check this place out. Service was super friendly and professional from start to finish and the food was something special. Could feel the love from our sever Persilla (sorry if it’s spelled wrong) and through the food. Chef’s kiss to the kitchen every detail was on point. Will definitely be stopping and eating here next time we are in the area! Totally recommend

This was our first time at Continental Cafe & Pancake House while passing through, and we were blown away by the hospitality. It’s rare to find a place where the service is as good as the food!

had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, who was a delight, and the entire team followed that same lead. Our server was fantastic—she was incredibly attentive, keeping our food delivered hot and our coffee refilled throughout the meal without us ever having to ask. To top it off, the young lady at the register was so pleasant during checkout.
As for the food: the perfectly fried chicken is a must-try, and being able to get customized waffles made the meal feel special. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and take pride in what they do.
From start to finish, it was a 5-star experience. I’ll definitely be back!”

I travel all the way from Indianapolis, Indiana to eat at this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and our waitress Mari has outstanding customer service skills. She made sure that our order was correct and we had everything that we needed, every condiment and extra napkins in a timely manner. We had a great conversation and shared some good memories with Taki about the restaurant and how long the restaurant has been there before we left. He has great conversation and respect for every customer. It’s always a pleasure to come here and feel like family.

This place is really good, prices are a bit high but it’s alot of food. I ordered the Mexican omelette and opted for the toast instead of the pancakes. I am glad i got the toast because its skit and the server and service was great…highly recommend them.

First, let’s look at the dates of the positive reviews. This one is from 2026. We were seated promptly and our waitress was attentive. However, we had to order coffee twice because the hazelnut creamer had spoiled in both batches. Apparently, the creamer is not being rotated out properly.
The food was decent, and our server was pleasant. But the manager didn’t apologize for the spoiled creamer or offer to remove the coffee charge from our bill. The coffee and the food are quite expensive. We spent over $70 in total including the tip for two people.
Overall, the restaurant needs a remodel. Considering all of these factors, we do not plan on returning.

It was about 8:00 in the morning. Not too many people were there, so the atmosphere was pretty quiet. We hadn’t been there in a really long time and suddenly remembered how good the food really was and decided we will be coming back way more often!
