Nice quiet spot. Parking was a bit of a pain. Inside was nice and cozy. This place believe or not is BYOB, which was different. I ordered the Pechuga al Ajillo(chicken breast with a garlic sauce and rice) was very good. The family style portion will have you have leftovers for lunch. This place doesn’t offer refills for there drinks, so be prepared for that. Not too bad of a place. Definitely recommend

The Aji de gallina that I got was crazy bland, no flavor no a hint of salt whatsoever just super heavy creamy with NO flavor.

The Papa a la huancaina that I got was also very bland and the potatoes taste so OLD and had a funky taste so I’m sure those potatoes were not good to date (ridiculous)

The Arroz chaufa de pollo was heavily drowned with ginger and garlic that was literally ALL you could taste.

Unfortunately what a waste of time and money!!! Last time coming here as I would know what a good Peruvian dish would taste like as a Peruvian myself.

Delicious food, quick friendly service. Homemade juices are tasty. My 9 year old picky-eater son devoured his ‘bistec a lo pobre’. Great little family spot.

This family own restaurant is so cozy, easy parking, the food is really good, we order the Ruleta Marina (ceviche, jalea & rice seafood) and it was perfect! I highly recommend it along with the Chicha Morada. The family ambiance is so loving. Cynthia was our waitress and she was OUTSTANDING! Her recommendations were on point and the Chirimoya and Lucuma organic ice cream to top it off was simply delightful! This place is a must try and we are looking forward to continue to come. Best of Luck! ☺️

Food was great but server was not the nicest AND they wanted to charge $1 for an extra ounce or two of their green sauce. In the last few years the price has almost doubled, portion is a little smaller and service is not as friendly as before. Also, I was never charged for extra sauce before. They just lost a customer over greed. At the very least, they should give you enough sauce for your order. It honestly takes at least three of those sources, and I only requested one extra. The dollar itself doesn’t matter as it was going to be more for her tip but that was all eliminated. I’ve noticed that more empty lately in passing, and now I know why.

wow.
the food and service were great
I order causa rellena and without a doubt the best I ‘ve ever had. also The Caldo de Gallina(picture below) was so delicious I felt like I was born again, the broth was outstanding I left the bowl dry and empty.
I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu on my next visit.

I went to this place recommended by a friend of mine. I have ordered the Lomo Saltado dish even though I thought the price was a bit high regardless if food was good it will be worth it. What a disappointment when the dish arrive. Let’s break down the dish the flavor was on point because has been flame however the meat was hard to chew. If a restaurant want to charge a higher price than other Peruvian restaurants they can do that however quality has to be on point. I will say flavor and preparation was good but the meat low quality. When I ask for “aji huacatay” they say that they didn’t have it. They make their own green sauce that doesn’t have the flavor of the real thing. At the end of my meal I asked for my bill and I was surprised that the tip was imposed on my bill. I was a party of one and usually this rule is when they serve a table of six or more people. The tip is not obligation to demand from customers. I have worked in restaurants at one point of my life so I am a very good tipper because I understand servers. Very particularly the bill has a statement of you want to ask about this rule to speak to the owner/manager. Very disappointed about this and the meat in my Lomo Saltado.
