This was our first time at Contessa’s on the Lake today. We love supporting independent family owned businesses and this one really hits the mark. We greeted at the door, immediately shown to a table and had good strong coffee in front of us. We enjoyed an omelette, two eggs with sausage both with plenty of potatoes, and one massive pancake! This is very much a family homestyle place and the food is exactly that. The decor is not fancy but it is clean and comfortable. We will absolutely be back!

This was our first time at Contessa’s! We had heard the food was very good and it didn’t disappoint!!! We tried the fish fry with French fries, and it was so good!!!! If I could rate this place more than 5 stars, I would! I ordered the ricotta stuffed shells, with a side of macaroni and cheese. My plate was literally clean in a matter of minutes! Kudos to the owner Rich! He was super awesome, and his food is phenomenal! Thanks again for your amazing service! Highly recommend!

Fantastic food. Had a 10 piece chicken dinner. Warmed up leftovers next day and it was even better. Authentic home cooking. Will try more of the menu.
