Social Profile:

We are a Mexican-owned independent restaurant, located in the heart of Queen City and we are also proud to be the favourites of the locals to meet up with friends for a cold Pacifico beer and nachos or for a fresh burrito to go. We serve what is known as the most authentic Mexican food in our county. We are not newcomers, but new Americans, born and raised in the Mexican capital, so you will occasionally see dishes on our menu of specials, only known in that city. Come and see us today!

Colorful, laid-back option for Mexican eats such as tacos, burritos & tortas, plus beer & sangria.

A small Mom and Pop like Mexican restaurant. Very tasty margaritas and the Cubano sandwich delicious. Right across from the Rex theater will definitely come back

Went here with my husband and his sister a couple weeks ago, as we had never tried it but have heard great things. Friday night, wasn’t very busy. Interior is really quaint and nice, no qualms there.

Food was bad. Zero authenticity – my husband comes from a Hispanic family, and we’ve eaten plenty of Latin/Mexican food in our lives. My husband got the carne asada tacos, the beef wasn’t fresh and lacked flavor. Corn tortillas were definitely not house-made. I ordered the fish tacos which were marketed as “Beer-battered tacos” which sounded so yummy. The minute the food arrived to our table, I had an instant hunch the fish was a frozen fried fish patty, and it was unpleasant and such a let down. Zero flavor, not fresh at all, honestly not even confident it was beer-battered at all. Felt like a store-bought frozen patty. It was very disappointing, and lacked authenticity.

Service was decent, but it seemed like there was one person doing everything (making even cooking?). Really weird!!

Don’t go here, there are so many other better places nearby for Mexican/Latin food. Definitely won’t be returning.

We arrived during dinner service. Downtown seemed pretty busy but this restaurant was empty. We placed our orders. I asked for water expecting it to be free but they gave us bottled water. Food was good. But the receipt was kind of sketchy. It wasn’t itemized and the price was about $20 more than expected. No explanation was given as to how the price got that high. I wouldn’t recommend this place for that reason. The food was good. The bathroom was a bit gross. 2 flies on the toilet seat, no TP, almost out of soap. The wall had peeling paint near the sink from some type of water damage. I just wanted to get out of there. It’s a shame because the food tasted great. But after the extreme over charge and gross bathroom I wouldn’t recommend going here.

Amazing food and amazing people. I got the chicken enchiladas with mule sauce. Not only the food was great but the people were amazing in their hospitality. The pride they take in preparing the food and taking care of their patrons is great. Will definitely go back to checkout rest of the items on their menu.

Have been coming here with friends for years. Always friendly staff and nice relaxed atmosphere. The only reason it is one star down is the last time we went they really skimped on meat in burritos. It was not our experience in the past. Hopefully they will correct it next time.

Hidden gem! Very authentic, very service oriented, super food! They also have a good beverage menu. Love the place, it’s one of those “hole in the wall” off the beaten path places, and just a block from the Palace Theater. If you’re going to see a show, give them a try! Or if you’re just in the mood for Mexican, give them a try! Oh, and the prices are great too!!!

10/10 food, got taquitos and a burrito, perfect sized portions, and not greasy, and amazing service too. I’m very picky with margaritas and these were the best margaritas I’ve had in town. Great prices as well, only $60 for two people with a great meal and margarita each!
