I couldn’t recommend this spot more! The drinks are exceptional and what makes them even better is that Conniption spirits are distilled right upstairs at Durham Distillery – every cocktail is crafted just steps from where you’re sipping. The vibes are amazing, and their Halloween pop-up is such a fun and creative experience. I love visiting for all of their seasonal menu changes – the Halloween pop-up was SO fun!

We had a fabulous time after the Durham Distillery tour on Saturday. This bar is fabulous and has a great vibe with well crafted cocktails along with wine and beer.

At first I was worried about how dingy it would be. Walking down a sidewalk around the back of a distillery isn’t the most luxurious! However, once we entered the space, we were met with a quality environment. We were seated quickly. The ambiance is so unique and lots of fun!! The cocktails were very enjoyable, especially if you are a gin lover. If not, there are still lots for you to choose from. It wasn’t too busy for a Friday night. Would be good for groups of six or less. Felt very much like a cocktail lounge, less like a bar. 🙂

Super disappointed. Not a huge drink selection let alone different alcohol distilleries. Food was fine seemed to be frozen and presentation was above average. The service lacked. Never got silverware without asking. Asked for napkins and was given cocktail ones. Quite humorous. Server was on her phone at the bar. Guess I was hoping for something more.

A new regular spot for me for sure. It’s got all the creepy cool vibes and historical background with some of the most expert cocktails I’ve had in Durham.
A great little lounge under the Durham Distillery that features a variety of gin based cocktails (though they have more options than only gin).
Music is not too loud, food was delicious, it was full but not overcrowded, and the staff was attentive and friendly without being over present. It was a perfect date night spot for us!

This is a gin joint. A Beautiful place. Hidden in the back of a distillery. The vibe lighting and vaporwave music alone make it a must visit. The drinks are gorgeous to look at and with a wide range of flavors to test any palette. Small bites menu nothing for a meal but enough to keep you sipping. Worth a try outside seating also available but at least take a look inside!

I am in LOVE!!! This place was absolutely grand. The atmosphere is really cool, very Speak Easy. We almost missed the entrance because it is slightly tucked away off the street level. The staff were super cool, our server was JJ and she was awesome. We enjoyed the cocktails and the food was really good. We got the dips and spreads as well as the goat cheese. The plating was very pretty and the spreads were soooo good. I highly recommend a stop by for a well crafted cocktail and some goat cheese.
