However, I did encounter a bit of a hiccup with the service. It took a solid 35 minutes for my food to arrive, which felt like an eternity, especially when you can hear your stomach grumbling in anticipation. I noticed the lady before me was getting pretty impatient, and I think she even asked for a refund due to the wait.
While I understand that good food takes time, it would have been great to get a bit of communication or a heads-up about the delay. That said, once my food finally arrived, all was forgiven—because it was absolutely worth the wait. I’ll definitely be back, but I might bring a snack for the wait next time!
The waffles and chicken were lovely. My husband got the blueberry and I Opted for plain. I got the peach tea half and half and my husband got the lemonade.
Enjoyed this lovely treat for breakfast while visiting the city.
Only thing we both said was, we hoped the waffle would be a tad more flavorful. Otherwise, it was great!
Update: I came back after my review for another try. This time when I was returning to pick up my food, I saw that the girl was not wearing any gloves. She saw my reaction and guiltily put on gloves quickly before finishing up packaging my food. Her face told all. She knew she was wrong. Who knew what she was touching prior to putting the gloves on.
