Lovely service. Tasty food. Their grilled chicken salad is really good. Tried their new menu item Texas toast which was also very good although a little but too oily to me. The cashier was able to offer excellent advice on possible pastry choices. Had the new burbon apple cake, it was good just never tasted any burbon flavour. If you like spicy like me try the dressing for the grilled chicken wrap on your salad. It was soooo good.

Not every place deserves a drive. Not every place deserves a purposefull trip. Connie’s does. The Phrase “Just give me the cinnamon buns you have left in the case.” Has left my lips more then I care to count. That said, I can not comment on the food just sweets. I never make it past the display case. I remember when it opened and we would stop on the ambulance to get coffee and cinnamon buns for the crew for breakfast. Still the same place. Still the same good food. All these years.

I love visiting Connie’s Bakery. The service is top-notch, and the food is delicious, especially the amazing tuna fish sandwich on white bread, toasted to perfection. One area for improvement could be implementing designated pickup and pay lines to make the process even smoother. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend it and can’t wait for my next visit to enjoy more of their culinary delights.

From the warm welcome upon entering the door to the amazing selection of fresh cakes, cookies and sandwiches, Connie’s is bound to put a smile on your face and those tummy grumbles disappear!! Love this place!!

This may not be a secret to Kingstree, but is was to this Out of Town person.
The food here is made to order and is absolutely wonderful. The bakery part is amazing, but they also have sandwiches and other items for less than what you would pay for fast food… and much better quality.
I will be returning to Kingstree just to eat here.

Work for a local hospice and I sort of tripped over this place about two weeks ago. Right on the corner of a pretty busy intersection. Parking was okay. Everybody was safely distance inside with their masks on. I’m being smart. The array of pastries and cakes was very pleasing cheesecake yes strawberry cake yes I think that’s a strawberry shortcake cake yes and a double chocolate oh yeah oh yeah!! Only difficulty is planning my time in Kingstree because they’re not open till 5 or 6 every night you have to check the hours because sometimes they’re closing mid-afternoon. Definitely a to-go spot.
