Conner’s Tavern on 5th Street and Pershing avenue is a nice little tavern to stop by and I actually celebrate my 21st birthday at Conner’s Tavern many years ago. At the time I believe the owner name was John Connor and his wife and I don’t remember her name, but I would go to Conner’s Tavern with my Aunt that I used to live with when I was 21 and the was in 1985 and that how long I remember Conner’s Tavern being around and I can remember some good people stopping by Conner’s Tavern

Google directed me to hog house but it wasn’t the hog house, in fact everyone inside never heard of the hog house. Actually I don’t know what bar they claimed it was simply because I just don’t remember. People and staff there were nice. Pool table and good tunes. Just don’t know name of place but just ask Google directions for hog house and you’ll find it lol

Smokey straight dive, with a relaxed atmosphere, sports, pool, and a jukebox. Sittin’ smokin’ drinkin’ is the game here. The main bartender is a great lady affectionately called “Bubba.” NFL will be discussed at sometime by someone in Conner’s. Local neighborhood bar…be not afraid, it’s a good time.
