So I went here after getting off the train once. I live in wantagh, grew up in wantagh. Had to check it out. Holy cow. I have to say.. I’ve never left a Google review in my life. It took me some time to figure out. I have a sweet tooth for sure and I need to come on here and say I had the best cupcake ive ever had in my life here. I still talk about this cupcake a year later. I dream of this cupcake. It was A basic vanilla with choc frosting. It was PERFECT. Like truly she has perfected her treats. Which is why I think she’s open one day and puts all her love and expertise into her one day of goodies. I hate over complicated bakery items ,
You know like the over the top ones with all the toppings and such. I’m trying to explain what I mean but- you just need to go in and try. The flavor has been perfected. It’s that eye to the back of the head drooling bite moment. I’ll be back this Saturday for that Sunday to treat myself for my birthday Monday. Just wow. So talented.

Today I placed an order for cupcakes for my daughter in law’s baby shower, and I also bought a few of the cupcakes and other bakery items home to sample. Everything was delicious! I recommend Connemara Bakery company to anyone looking for something special, and delicious, and u can tell everything is made from the love of baking. Also the owner and the staff are very pleasant, they greet you with a warm hello, and bid u a nice day when u leave.

So excited to have found this charming bakery so close to home. I pre ordered the lemon cake for New Year’s and it is definitely one of the best I’ve had. So light and flavorful. Also tried the vanilla cupcakes as well as the coconut ones and the Amish cookies. Everyone was thrilled and we definitely found our new local bakery. The owner is lovely and the complimentary coffee and tea offering while you’re there is a nice touch. Wishing this new bakery the very best of luck!

Great little bakery with a nice Irish flair. Cakes are restaurant quality and cupcakes and other pastries (i.e.: Lintzer Tarte, Amish cookie…etc) are awesome. The Carrot cake/cupcake and the Strawberry Shortcake/cupcakes are the bomb!

I have not come across a bakery in such a long time where I could taste the freshness in every bite. But this bakery did just that and proved me wrong.
There is such a warm feeling of happiness and friendliness when you walk in.
