i got the penne ala vodka and it was the best ive ever had. I licked the plate clean and asked the chef personally for the recipe. I get penne ala vodka everywhere I go And it was the best thing that has ever touched my tongue. If I wasn’t lactose intolerant, I would’ve licked the plate clean. my server was super polite and made sure all my needs were met and I truly believe she would save my cat from a tree because she is so nice and considerate. The host was also super funny and kept cracking jokes, and it honestly made my day. Connect restaurant and lounge isn’t just a restaurant, its a home.

This was my bread sandwich. Insulting amount of steak in this thing. Doesn’t even fill the roll and was flat when closed. Usually, these things are hard to eat with steak falling all over the plate. This is utterly insulting the amount in this thing. My father also paid $27 for 6 scallops with cold mashed potatoes. That wasn’t even mentioned to the staff but they stood behind that “steak and cheese”. I’m not one to complain and almost never leave bad reviews but i will never come back here again. Left the place still hungry and unhappy. If they need to charge a couple more bucks and not skimp you, that’s okay. This is not. This thing might as well be on the kids menu.

We have only eaten out front, but it was the perfect balance volume wise with the live music in the lounge area. While cozy, it offers a quieter atmosphere.
We have eaten here a couple of times now. Both times we have had a great experience. The food is excellent, the prices aren’t an immediate turn off, and OUR interaction with staff has been great. Our waitress was super sweet and popped over the perfect amount to check in on us.
I understand they were short staffed and adjusting on the fly. For the most part the staff seemed to be doing a good job. For the most part.
One issue I had was witnessing a waitress berate the young kid who was learning to host last night. A pair of customers left because they never saw a waitress. After they left, in front of other patrons (us being the closest) she berated the kid and told him to do better. She was unprofessional and nasty. Not only that but she was also the only waitress walking around with an ear pod in. It was a conversation that could have been conducted much more professionally being on the floor, or professionally away from customers.

The food was fantastic, Im not from the area, but I popped into this restaurant with an open mind. Grabbed “my go to” a burger made exactly how I wanted it, and they had every detail I wanted on it. Ordered a homemade meatball starter and it was great and definitely homemade. The wife ordered a steak grinder and the steak was actually sliced up chunks of steak not the typical shaved steak grinder. 9/10 will definitely go back when im in the area!

First time here . We stopped in after the parade. Staff was super kind and friendly, bread & oil came quick, drinks came fast. We ordered appetizers upon our drink order. It took about 30 mins for them to come out. When they came it was worth the wait. Stuffed seafood mushrooms and onion rings. The good experience fizzled there. We asked our waiter if the mushrooms had any mustard in the sauce as we had someone in our party that was allergic,he said he would check, 10 mins later no answer. We asked a female waitress she as well said she would ask. 10 mins later the original waiter came back with the answer. 2 if us ordered mains for dinner , 1 person a salad and one ordered a appetizer as thier main. All appetizers were great, flavorful. The main left something to be desired. The chicken parm. The chicken was paper thin with the bread crumbs thicker then the chicken and had a off stale old bread crumb flavor.. The pasta was ok at best. The steak tips were nothing impressive. They tasted like steak chunks cooking in diluted BBQ sauce. . With the price point I found it very odd that they charged a seperate charge for the dipping sauce for our onion rings appetizer ( even Burger King gives you free dipping sauce). The atmosphere wasn’t the best either. It would have been fine if you were able to communicate with the people at you own table or even hear your waiter but the live music in such a small space was way too loud. Once more people started coming in after the parade you can tell the stafff got backed up. We asked 3 seperate times for to go boxes. This review is in no way a negative reflection on the wait staff as they were running like crazy to make sure everyone was being attended to. My overall take was at the start it seemed it was going to be a home run only to fall short in the end. The appetizers made sense for the price point. As for the mains I’ve had way better for the same price or less and would not go out of my way to return here.

Fried Under The Sea Platter all laid out for you to get an idea. 4 large Shrimp, 4 Scallops, a handful of Onion Rings, a modest piece of Haddock, a lot of Fries, lightly salted. Small Coleslaw, small Tartar Sauce. And, a few pieces of nice fresh bread, which was different.
For $23.99 as of this date, overall a good value.
I would have liked a handful of Clams in this instead of a lot of fries and bread, or a full piece of Haddock.
The seafood was good, mildly sweet Scallops. I would suggest about 30 seconds less on the seafood frying times, it was borderline.
The Tartar Sauce was divine. I always make my own because I like a nice dill taste versus the sweet. This was perfect ! So flavorful with a nice zing to it. I don’t care for coleslaw so the tiny amount here didn’t matter to me. I would suggest doubling the Tartar because you need more in this. Also, add some Cocktail Sauce for the Shrimp and Ketchup for the Fries. I liked seeing the container lined with parchment. Most places don’t. I’ve had to throw out seafood from elsewhere because the container melted, stuck to the food and the fumes permeated the rest. I really wish the old fiber containers were in use for takeout. They are mainly just used for draining food from fryers now, before plating. They are so much better for absorbing condensation and oil, so takeout orders would fair much better. And they are healthier all around.
This was an in person Takeout order around 6:20 pm. It took about 20 min. on a slow Monday.
I appreciate the varied menu as there is no other real restaurant in town and I drive by daily. Nice variety for people to choose from and the pricing is fair for everyone’s wallet. They have Gluten Free options as well.
Polite, young staff, but an annoying random “ding” of sorts every so often to alert staff. A few customers were commenting on it being an unpleasant disruption.
I look forward to trying more dishes here. Hopefully the early open hours increase in due time.

Tried the Steak Bomb sub – very good and the steak wasn’t the super thin variety. I liked the sub roll used because it was not a lot of bread, but it is narrow. A wider roll would work better.
The Irish Egg rolls I wouldn’t try again. Not enough filling to get any flavor. They are also heavily coated in cornmeal so it was a tough, chewy exterior. Not worth the money.

Great spot for a quick meal. Always quality food. One exception during which the chicken wasn’t properly cooked for picatta. My wife and I will certainly be back, and my parents too!

Very good food great staff . Even when it is very busy the staff always do there best to get to you as fast as they can . It’s sad when costumers think they are the only people in the place and leave bad reviews. And if you are looking for a great place with love live
Music on a Saturday night stop in and enjoy the place. When you go to a place with live music don’t think it’s going to be .quite. Relax and enjoy your friends and family .

Based on our experience with the now closed, Spencer Connect Restaurant, we were excited to try the N. Brookfield location. Unfortunatly, were disappointed. We believe in constructive criticism, in order for us to go back there. The live music would need to be turned down to a conversation level, holes in wall repaired, fly proplem eliminated. $9 3 Oz. wine pour was disappointing. Food was decent although not in keeping with the same level as the now defunct Spencer location. Service was good.
