There are so many positive things to say about Congress Pizza, that I’m almost not sure where to start. This is one is the best pizza places I’ve ever eaten at. The crust is thin and crispy, the toppings are generous and placed just right, and the sauce ratio is perfect. I had to stop myself from eating when I was full because it was so good that I wanted to continue. The people that work here greeted us from the bar when we came in, and throughout our stay were checking on us, asking where we were from and why the hadn’t seen us before, and told us to come back soon as we were leaving. Our server was nice, funny and genuine; she made us feel welcome and cared for. Everyone that worked here seemed happy. Fantastic food, awesome people, we’ll be going back for sure.

Congress is making a good pie.
The room is comfortable.
Most of the folk inside are Friendly.
All of the staff was friendly, helpful, nice, and provided GOOD customer service as well as good food, and as busy as it was I say the food and drinks arrived pretty quickly.
The lie has a smokey flavor like it came out of a pizza oven and not a conventional oven.
The meat toppings have a good quality taste.

Such an incredible experience!! My son and I went here for the first time ever. The staff was amazing from the moment we walked until we left. They even have a few arcade games, like Ms. PAC-man, to play while you wait for your food. We ordered a pizza that was the best pizza I’ve ever had!! On top of all of this already impressive visit, the bill was cheap! We each had soda with one large, 2 topping pizza for only $23. I highly highly recommend this place. We went on a Thursday shortly after 4. The service was very fast. By 5pm they were starting to get busy. Very cool place with a fabulous atmosphere

Service was a little slow, but they encouraged to get a reservation and your order in early to speed it up, so congrats on booming business!
Pizza was an “inverted” style, thin crust + toppings and cheese + sauce spooned on top. Very easy to eat, not very messy and quite delicious! According to my dad and the other “old timers” they thought it was identical to when they were kids in the 50s and beyond.
Definitely worth a stop!

Let’s begin with the fundamentals. Crust: Crisp, crunchy, thin, and cooked to perfection just like your Roman grandmother. Seriously, you will eat more than necessary, just for the textural sensation. Sauce: handmade, just like the dough and resulting crust, perfectly paired, and layered to your desired toppings. Cheese: Light in volume, yet complementary to the “thin crust” style pizza with handmade sauce on top. There is not any reason to add an abundance of cheese when the crust, sauce, and fresh toppings have definitive flavor and texture.
Hospitality: Second to none! The people are as good as the pizza. Part of the experience is grabbing a drink, sparking up a conversation with the guy/gal next to you, or the friendly staff, and watching generations of patrons filter in and out. The staff treats each person like family, and it is a heartwarming experience to see, and know that places like this still exist in the world.
We have been coming here for over two decades and the quality, hospitality, and people are only getting better. If you are within 100 miles and are looking for life changing pizza, then look no further.

Good pizza. Gluten free crust only a 10inch crust, no other option, tough to feed family of 4 with Siliac issues without buying multiple pizzas. Wish they had a larger option available other than 10inch. The atmosphere was more set for a short order restaurant. A lot of amazing history on the walls, but for a Pizza restaurant, I did not feel like the history flowed, or fit the business. The two did not compliment each other.

Try a Cudighi! We were sampling some beers over at Cognition Brewing when a fellow who goes by “Soup” recommended we try one of the local delicacies, a Cudighi! He said Congress Pizza is the place everyone craves when they come back to town. When i looked at the menu, the ingredient list wasnt something I would put together but the taste speaks for itself and their sausage was fantastic. Great stop, friendly staff!
