Where do I start , the atmosphere was amazing. The service was immaculate. I love the way the owner came and checked on us . I came with a group of 10 and we all felt like our needs were met. Our server was so nice, very attentive . Thank you I will be back for more lamb chops and lemon drops

I’ve eaten at this establishment twice. Each experience was the same. Good good, service not! I don’t even have the energy to write out the mountain of issues we experienced during our visits. I gave grace the first visit because it was extremely busy but the second visit was the same as the first and there wasn’t hardly anyone there. In short, the waitress seem very inexperienced, lack attention to customers need, and poor follow through.

We dont give black businesses in Cincinnati enough credit (myself included)! I neverrrr do reviews, but here we go! Went to brunch here on Saturday 2/21 for the first time and I was impressed! Everything, starting with our server Destiny, was amazing! She was able to recommend things I should try (because I’m indecisive like that!), including the sweet potato waffle and potatoes and onions, while my friend had the lamb chops and grits which I was able to try and it was delicious! For drinks she also recommended the pineapple margarita. Service was prompt and the staff was very engaging! If you’re looking for a vibe with great food and drinks, this is the place to check out! Thank you to Destiny and the team-I’ll definitely make sure to check it out again during other mealtimes.

Not worth the hype. We had a 9:30pm reservation, we weren’t seated until 9:55pm. The food was mediocre. We had crab spinach dip, wings, brussel sprouts and Mac n cheese. I asked for my wings fried hard, they were soft. Best thing was the brussel sprouts when it came to the food and they’re nothing to write home about. The lychee martini was good.

My Friends and I dined at Confession’s for Live Music Wednesdays and it was everything the bartender (Q) said it was be! I visited Confessions for the first time last week at Q was my bartender. She warmly greeted me and informed me of the lamb chop, wings, happy Hoyas Lemon Drop specials before taking my order. I watched her make 2 large containers of lemon drops (she called them batches) while I was looking over the menu to make my selections. She helped other customers with the same enthusiasm and afterwards, she came back to check on me. While talking my order, I told her it was my first time. She encouraged me to write a google review but I forgot . She informed me of the live music Wednesdays and I invited some girlfriends to join me! Q’s lemon drops are sooooo good on my first visit, so I encouraged my homegirls to try them and we all LOVED THEM! We took advantage of the $4 lamb chops special and although they took a while, they were certainly worth the wait! The manager Airy was very attentive to our needs and she rolled her sleeves up , went into the kitchen and delivered our food to us personally!! She even checked on us to make sure everything was to our expectations. Later into our visit, a few others joined us after we had already closed our tabs with Q, so we started another one with drinks only with Mimi, who had the same warmth as Q. She made my friends a few Henny Islands and they could not stop talking about how good their drinks were. And of course the live music was beautifully curated and perfect for the atmosphere, along with the fresh stemmed roses that we received upon entry. Experience 10/10, highly recommend and we WILL be back!! Thank you Confession’s for hiring such wonderful people that care about customer service!! -LaTisha!

The food was absolutely delicious I wasn’t thrilled about folks “hanging out” in front but overall it was a whole vibe! I was very impressed with this place…only thing is…the waitress didn’t ask if we wanted dessert so now I may have to order it along with the meal ♀️ Go get a meal…you won’t be disappointed
