It’s like walking into a half lit office backroom with lights flickering and the back half of the room barely lit. The hot dogs are tough, the cheese was not melted, and the prep counter staff were unable to put ketchup on the hotdogs. All the chairs were on the tables during normal business hours, discouraging sit in business. I couldn’t even leave a tip because the credit card reader doesn’t have the option.

My mother, sister and I decided to have lunch here on a whim because we used to go to the downtown location many, many years ago before they closed that location and loved the food there. We ordered the usual coney dog and added cheese. We took one bite and went back to let them know that the hot dogs were cold and hard. The gentlemen argued with me and the lady (we recognized her because she used to work at the downtown location) came over and took the tray and threw it in the garbage aggressively. She then remade the chili dogs while slamming all the utensils and the cover where the buns are kept like a spoiled brat. They don’t believe in customer service at all. We have never, ever been treated so poorly at a restaurant before. No apology. The remade chili dogs weren’t much better. The food certainly has gone down hill dramatically. To top it off, the lady came from behind the counter and walked past our table saying in front of us and other customers, “I always take the cooked hot dogs, not ones I just put on the grill.” She didn’t even stop to talk to us, she just walked by and spewed venom. All my sister could say to her was “don’t be like that.” We just wanted to get out of there as fast as we could because of how unprofessional, rude, and pathetic the staff were. As I read other reviews, this is unfortunately usual behavior on their part. I don’t understand how they are still open. Never again will we step foot in this disgusting place of business. I would advise you to do the same.

Lunchtime 5 people in eating, all empty tables had not been washed. All we had to sit at is dirty tables. We ordered a bakers dozen with a bucket of fries to eat some there and take the rest home which I told this to the cashier.

My hotdogs were dry and almost hard. Shriveled. They must have been on the grill from the day before! Usually so much better.

I have always lived coney island chili digs! Was my go to place in the mall until the closed there. My friend, grand daughter and I decided to stop at this location today. Big mistake. The place is run down and dirty. The guy that took the order was very rude to my friend, then I went back to the counter after we got our food and simply asked for some ranch for grand daughters chicken nuggets. The lady who is supposed to be a manager/owner was flat out nasty. Never been treated like that in a restaurant before. She has no business working with the public in any way shape or form. Add that to the hit dogs being different and nit very good, the buns were almost crispy and the food was barely warm…..my dollars will be spent elsewhere. Won’t set foot in there again.

Love the food but sometimes the fries are under cooked so asked if they could keep them down a little bit longer and they said they couldn’t. There is a female manager who walks with a limp that is always rude everytime I go there like she’s always having a bad day. Always rushing your order, saying stuff like “if you don’t want it you don’t have to order it.” when asked about to cooking the fries a bit longer and tossing a plastic knife I asked for one the counter and giving us a cold stare as she left. Always rude! I wish they would open up the other locations again!
