Heard about this place and decided to try. My grilled hot dogs are ten times better than this. I make better red sauce. I think they boil their hot dogs cuz it taste like it. You’re better off buying your own hot dogs, grilling them yourself and adding whatever you want. Do not waste your money at this place!!!

Was only here one other time and that was the old location. Was curious about their new location and how they transitioned it from Jags to a coney place. The minute I walked in I was greeted by Cayla, a very nice young lady, and was encouraged to sit wherever I liked. She quickly caught up to me with a couple menus, but I already knew what I wanted. As I waited for my 4 coneys and large fry I looked around. They have really cleaned the place up. They also put in a new coated floor which did wonders from what it was. The place was very inviting and full of Christmas decor. Next thing I knew one of the other servers brought over a picture frame prop and took a picture with me. A lot of fun! The entire time I was in there all I heard was genuine laughter and full engagement with customers and staff at the counter. Even though I wasn’t at the counter I found it enjoyable to listen to. They also didn’t let it get in the way of taking care of other customers. Cayla was absolutely amazing! I would go back everyday just to see her. This is simply a great place for a quick bite to eat that doesn’t break the bank…not even close! Go check ’em out!

I came in today at 2:55 PM to pick up some food for a coworker. I made the order for the coworker and when it was time to pay I handed the lady a Coney dog cafe frequent customer card and a $20 bill. I recommended this place to him because he’s never tried it and new to our location . After I gave her The customer card and money. She looked at the $20 bill then looked at me and asked me for a different form of payment because the money I had did not look real, I work at Hires automotive across the street. we come there all the time to eat but after today. I will never step foot back in that establishment. I was so embarrassed I didn’t even get her name. They younger staff have always been welcoming but this older lady today really changed my view. Smh I really liked this place.

Pretty good. I had a brat Chicago style with a side of chili cheese fries. Everything was good but came out really fast. Like too fast for my brat to have been cooked to order. Also no snap when biting in so i feel like it was boiled or maybe cooked in one of those rotating cookers. But other than that everyone else at the table loved their food. My only real complaint is the 4% charge to run a credit card. i guess a lot of places are starting to do that now but 4% seem a little high.

The food is pretty good. The service is really nice. People that work in there were very kind and this one of my favorite place to eat at. All in all this place is definitely great to eat at. Would recommend!

Good standard coney dogs, a bit lacking in sauce by default so a bit dry and fries/cheese sauce a bit too basic.

I waited over an hour to get my food today. Just because it’s “national hot dog day” doesn’t mean I should have to wait for over an hour for my food. Even with a combination of being extra busy and understaffed doesn’t excuse it. Oh and when I finally got the attention of someone, I was told that they “called out my name sometime while I was waiting. I never heard anything even resembling my name. I will never come back here again.

The staff were super nice and helpful! The pork tenderloin was good but too oily (oil actually squirted out of the side of the sandwich when I took a bite). The fries weren’t great, maybe could have used some salt or lawry’s. My grandma raved about the coneys, she devoured them!

#1 of the best Coney/Slider places around the entire area. Marty and his whole staff will always take the best care your needs and with some of the best smiles too. This is one place you won’t regret eating in town.

Great little coney spot. I think Coney Island downtown is slightly better, but the Coney Dog Cafe has more menu options, including fries! The classic coney was the best of the 3 dogs I tried.
