This has got to be the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. First of all what kind of Mexican place doesn’t serve corn tortillas?! The food taste like it’s out of a can or frozen. Definitely a red flag when the food comes out within 5 min of ordering. Yes, I understand it’s cheap food and I would have tolerated it if they didn’t charge extra for rice n beans AND added an 18% service charge. You also have to pay for water. Your better off stopping at a food truck for Mexican food. Would not recommend.

Food was decent at best. Ground beef taco was beef stew on a shell, that does not belong on a taco. Steak did not resemble steak at all, more of like a euro. No knives given. Paperplates used instead of regular plates (environment friendly?!?!) Waitress did not check on us. They automatically gave a tip that was not deserved at all. The only good thing was my cheese enchilada. Charged for water.

Conejitos a place we used to frequent many times in the past and had great experience – but will not be returning after the last visit. my wife is disabled and uses a power wheelchair to access most establishments , the entrance only has stairs which is not good for wheelchairs, the only disabled access is through the exit only door, which has no access unless you go inside and tell the workers that we need someone to open the door from the inside, seemed it was a bother for the workers to go and allow disabled access. the exit only door should be easier access for the disabled, a handle or sign saying exit only disabled entrance

Obsessed with this place!! (Bought a t-shirt) Just so freaking good. Yeah prices went a LITTLE up, but who cares!! The food was insanely cheap to begin with, settle down people. Margaritas are the best, they’ll knock you down! If I lived closer I’d probably gain 30lbs because I’d be there constantly LOL. Tried to post pics but I couldn’t NOT take a bite of my enchiladas as soon as he set them down.

I have been to Conejitos a few times in the past couple years, and I have always appreciated the authenticity and value for some Mexican food. It is not a fancy restaurant, classic Mexican food served on the signature paper plate. This place hasn’t changed too much through the years, aside from some changes to the pricing. It is understandable, and the prices are still very affordable for the food you get. I am a little disappointed that they no longer offer complementary chips and salsa.

If you’re looking for great food for an amazing price, look no further. I’ve tried everything on the menu at least once, and have yet to be disappointed. My only complaint is they have decided to stuff everyone into the front room while leaving a larger second dining room empty for some reason. That’s not stopping us from going back any time we’re in the area, though.

Great find! I’m visiting Milwaukee from Texas and missing good Mexican food. This place was awesome! Food was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. And there were cute, eclectic, little rabbits everywhere…for the non Spanish speakers, the restaurant name translates to little rabbits

This place has been or go to for years when coming in to Milwaukee but not anymore. As soon as we entered the hostess was beyond rude and actually yelled at us. When we finally got a waitress who took our order I asked for only onions and cilantro on my tacos and was told they didn’t have cilantro and onions were extra! Once our food arrived one order was wrong and we asked for it to be fixed she argued that we didn’t order it that way and begrudgingly took it back to be fixed. All our food tasted like it was cooked in a microwave yuck. I will never step foot in this place again which is really a shame since we have loved this place.
